gargsms Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I have been using the hosting for a long time now, and HelioHost is undoubtedly my favourite free hosting. But the missing thing is https on almost all the pages. Why don't you people enable CloudFlare Free throughout? It gives at least a basic SSL protection. Also, the cpanel logins and all the credentials are passed over http which is not secure. I understand that the free hosting is supposed to be used for testing purposes and not for actual websites, but when you can have a valid CloudFlare certificate for free, why not use it? Quote
wolstech Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 cPanel access already supports HTTPS, but we have self-signed certificates: https://stevie.heliohost.org:2083/ As for HTTPS on hosting accounts, we can't directly enable it for a few reasons and using cloudflare on everybody's account isn't really an option. We do support using cloudflare on our accounts though if you set it up manually. We were supposed to be getting cloudflare integration so you could literally just turn it on in cPanel, but it never got installed for some reason. Quote
