voicyou1 Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I recently signed up the Stevie account on the heliohost.org and thought everything was fine. I went to my godaddy account and pointed the ip of my A record to stevie accoubt server ip address. Added the heliohost server name servers to my NS record. And then uploaded some sample content to the www folder through FTP. But whenever i type my domain name it is just opening the heliohost.org/home page. Can anybody tell what is missed or went wrong this configuration. Quote

Byron Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 If you've purchased the domain name from godaddy, you should be able to set the ns records to us. If you can't, contact godaddy. Quote
voicyou1 Posted September 17, 2014 Author Posted September 17, 2014 i have set the ns record to heliohost. ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org are name servers that i have added but it is of no help. Quote
Byron Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 You need to wait 24 hours after any dns changes. Your site should be visible by tomorrow this time: http://bybyron.net/php/tools/dns_records.php?domain=voicyou.com&rec=NS Quote

Byron Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 Even after removing the A record from my godaddy account the page is redirecting to the heliohost.org/home. Did you correct this after you added the ns servers? Quote
