Dule
Hi, I'm receiving this error message as well. I attached it. Thanks!
wolstech
Yeah I see it now as well. It's probably due to the fact cPanel was updated again to 11.44. That version likely isn't supposed to be used with 5.1.x. I don't know if it will actually be updated or not. It seems to function just fine, though it's extremely old. Robdog75
Hello. I keep getting the error establishing a database connection each time I attempt to access my Wordpress dashboard and my website. I changed the InnoDB to MyISAM ages ago. How do I fix this please? Robrobdog75
wolstech
Try changing your database user's password to match what's in the config file for your website. If it doesn't work, delete and recreate the user for your database. When recreating it, make sure the password matches and that the new user is assigned to the database. Robdog75
Ok! Sounds similar to what happened before minus editing the database got loads of backups. Just a bit hesitant to creating a new database as MyPHPAdmin just came up as a blank page in Chrome and Firefox when I tried it earlier.
wolstech
Not the database itself, the user for the database. You shouldn't need to use PHPMyAdmin at all. You should be able to everything needed to fix your using the tools at the bottom of this page: http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/x3/sql/index.html
sandrosb
cant repair / restore my sql db name : sandrosb_bhieneka_wp13db user : sandrosb_law help me
wolstech
The first step is to change your cPanel password. Do that here: http://stevie.helioh...sswd/index.html After that, check to see which databases are visible in phpmyadmin. I need a list of any that aren't visible so Krydos can restore them for you. Once they're restored (or if they're already visible), go here: http://stevie.helioh.../sql/index.html and delete and recreate your database users. Be sure to use the database password found in your software's configuration file (if you don't know, the manual for the software will likely have instructions on finding and editing it). Then reassign the users to the databases. If you don't know what privileges to grant, select "All privileges".

wolstech
No we can't, because we don't have one either. If you deleted the databases as it sounds like you may have, you need to rebuild your site from scratch. You were only supposed to delete the database users, not the databases. If you didn't delete it but its missing, let me know the name of the database so it can be reassigned to you.
