surfcss Posted November 11, 2006 Posted November 11, 2006 This is GREAT fun. Play Counter-Strike: Source on local and international servers. Great for when you bored What you need... - A steam account. http://www.steampowered.com/ - An original copy of Counter-Strike: Source. And NO - it's impossible to use a pirated copy for online playing. Please note - you can buy Counter-Strike: Source in Steam at a better price that what you would get at your local software store. And then you set. For better latency and reduced lag it is best to play on local servers. Always filter the games according to your location when searching for servers.

Quantum Media LLC Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 How the hell are bots registering for accounts and posting...I got a virus because someone posted something in the whithouse section about a topic that is intresting...it went to a website, started playing a video and my computer crashed...That SUCKED!!!! This forum needs better/higher security on it to keep that from happening.

Also, you DO realize I need to sleep, correct? I've been deleting bot spam for almost half a year now, it's impossible to stop. CATCHPA is bypassed through low-paid workers and IP bans are bypassed through proxies. I suggested that new accounts under a post limit and guests cannot post links, djbob is looking into it.
gma Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 I suggested that new accounts under a post limit and guests cannot post links, djbob is looking into it. I think that's a good idea. Guests posting links is probably not a good thing.
AverageJoe Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 back on the topic, I used to love steam, till I found bf2!
Helions Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 anyone here used to play CS back in the day? before the 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 patches? bunny hopping was the best... me and my clan used to tear it up
Helions Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Is CS like BF2? Whats it like? it's similar...Counter Strike (CS) is a first person shooter where you choose to be a terrorist or a counter terrorist...as a terrorist, you gotta blow up the bombsite or capture hostages depending on what map you're playing...as a counter terrorist, you either stop the terrorists from planting the bomb at the bombsite or defuse it if it's already been planted, or you save the hostages... back in its prime days, CS was awesome...almost every internet cafe was packed to the brim with people playing CS with each other...i'm proud to say that i was a part of the whole thing...i've played in many tournaments and was a part of a team that participated in the CPL Leagues...
battlelands Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 I love Counter-Strike, I play with my pirate copy of 1.6 and I really like it...
Helions Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I love Counter-Strike, I play with my pirate copy of 1.6 and I really like it... the shield and all that's pretty cool...but the game was so much better back in the day... ah, the good ol days...every internet cafe in chicago was packed to the brim with kids playin CS
Oreo Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Earliest version I've played was like... 1.3 or something. WON was awesome.
