After recent upgrade, when i log-in to cPanel, only text of items available. the gui icons are not shown. i feel if icons are available, it will be easier to work. could any one help on this issue?
Krydos Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Yeah, we've noticed this too and are trying to figure out what happened.
cl58 Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 The problem is that the image files are not correctly called or do not exist because according the Firefox web console, the images 404'd. The admins are aware of this issue and are working on fixing it.
Brother Hassan Posted August 23, 2011 Posted August 23, 2011 Perhaps this could help ... http://forums.cpanel.net/f8/custom-cpanel-...ork-139877.html
ECE KLU Posted August 24, 2011 Author Posted August 24, 2011 Thank you guys... so, i will wait until this problem is solved out.
jje Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Aha! I have been doing some serious research and rooting through the files on Stevie, and have found the problem. This the image that the server is trying to access: /cPanel_magic_revision_/frontend/x3/branding/icon_sprites_img.jpg This is the image that the server should be accessing: /frontend/x3/branding/icon_sprites_img.jpg That is the problem. Also, /cPanel_magic_revision_/ doesn't even exist. Djbob tried upcp again but it made no change. I'm not going to mess with cPanel's core files...
jje Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
7706840 Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 YAH!!!! cPanel images have loaded! (see image below... - yes it is my cPanel!) Thanks djbob! -- J.J.
Ashoat Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Yeah, looks like the cPanel folks resolved it. Glad it's working! Closing thread due to resolution...
