  1. I am unsure if it is possible to host MSSQL databases on our servers. However, MySQL is a useful alternative. You need to be on Johnny for .aspx pages to work properly. If you are currently on Stevie, read up on: http://wiki.helionet.org/wiki/Moving_your_account
  2. Sorry, you need to use an alternative email address as HelioHost cannot send important emails to hotmail or live email addresses. You could use an alternate provider such as GMail
  3. In cPanel, have you entered the 'Remote SQL' page and put a % symbol in the box?
  4. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
  5. I am not seeing harish in the database anymore? Lets's see what djbob thinks... @Geoff - Actually that problem hasn't had much of an effect; there is only one account queued @ the mo
  6. Glad your problem got solved! Please spare 2 minutes to leave feedback at http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=8947 Closing...
  7. @cl58tools - As a thank you for contributing to the wiki, we have promoted your account on HelioNet to the 'Contributer' rank

  9. Fixed Your account is now active and in perfect condition. You should be able to login through the HelioHost homepage.
  10. Maybe by using a cron job we could fix it right.
  11. The only host that comes to mind is AlwaysData.com. Except it only gives you 10MB, so I couldn't even install OSQA on it!
  12. I'll keep that in mind. Thanks Byron!
  13. I cannot find your account in the database. It might have been permanently deleted as you were too late to renew your account - sorry. Please feel free to resign up
  14. This support request is being escalated to our root admin. @djbob - working on stevie but not johnny.
  15. Please continue to take part in the survey, as we still wish to know how we can improve our service further. I will update the thread above with any responses to the survey. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or post in this topic.
  16. Yes, I am aware of that byron. I did a chmod on his public_html as well as it's contents - I couldn't find the SSH command to chmod just the directories. Is it extremely important that files are 0644? Sorry,
  17. Vincent, please wait 24 hours now. @Wizard - It didn't say that message on status.php yesterday. This extended wait might be because of the bihourly problem (look in escalated requests) which has delayed this.
  18. To have the ability to use ASP.NET (aspx pages), then you will need to move to our new server, Johnny. More information about this, including how to move your account, is available here: http://wiki.helionet.org/wiki/Moving_your_account

  20. Hmm, tried doing a chmod to 0755 on your public_html files but to no avail.

    Stevies server?

Stevie is more reliable and stable compared to Johnny, as it cannot/doesn't run dangerous services such as ASP.NET, Java/JSP and Ruby on Rails.

  25. @Geoff - His site is still queued.
