    HelioPanel Beta

I would rather use cPanel than thew Heliohost custom panel actually. There's no way Heliohost staff can match the quality of cPanel without putting a crazy amount of work into it. Besides, cPanel's used everywhere and it's easier for others to use because it's universal.
  7. Cool. Thanks for all the help.
  8. And after I create that account, is java automatically enabled for Johnny or will I have to post a request?
  9. Would I need to have two usernames then?
  10. Hey there. Before posting this thread, I've done a search on the HH wiki. I know it says it's "one account per person", but I'm wondering if we're allowed to have one account on Johnny and one on Stevie, just to try the features out and so that we can have the most uptime possible. I currently have an account on Stevie, and I want to experiment with Johnny as well, while keeping an account on Stevie for things that don't need, like Java, ASP.NET, or RoR. I'd also like to do this because it's more stable on Stevie, and the other stuff that doesn't need the features on Johnny can be just left on Stevie, so even when Johnny's down, I still have the basic set of features (HTML/PHP) Thanks, Snuupy

    Awesome news!

    Awesome djbob! Thanks!
  12. Hey there. For a few weeks, my site has been up (except for downtime) while the host was up. However, my site is down for some reason, both snusite.com and snusite.heliohost.org. I've check the server on the main page, and it says Stevie is still up...and I can access my CPanel. Is there a reason my site is down? When will this be fixed? Thanks, -Snuupy
  13. So I'm not supposed to get snuupy@snusite.com?
  14. Admin@snusite.heliohost.org admin@snusite.heliohost.org dave@snusite.heliohost.org nlc@snusite.heliohost.org rcg@snusite.heliohost.org snusite@snusite.heliohost .org snuupy snuupy_logs Yet none of them say *@snusite.com, and I can't create any of them. Edit: Also, in logs, I can't click "Snusite.com", it's not listed. Only blog.snusite.com , forum.snusite.com, and snusite.heliohost.org is...I can't select snusite.com Then, I see my favicon in Snusite.heliohost.org, but not snusite.com. I'm pretty sure something's messed up....
  15. I am using snuupy@snusite.heliohost.org right now, but I can't create one at snuupy@snusite.com. Is this possible? I heard that my DNS or something was messed up, and only an admin could fix it? -Snuupy Edit: I just saw on my side: Main Domain snusite.heliohost.org Can this be changed to snusite.com, as that's my main domain? Please go to http://stevie.heliohost.org:2082/frontend/..._pure-ftpd.html and tell me what accounts you see. There should already be a FTP account setup for snusite.com. We could change your domain, but it wouldn't really make a difference. We would also have to remove your "snusite.com" domain from the system, which would take at least a day. Okay, I see only accounts with *@snusite.heliohost.org, and no @snusite.com. None of them :S

  17. No, I did with the go daddy thing. I can access www.snusite.com, but I can't create stuff FTP Accounts with it. I can see all my stuff at snusite.com though. I did set up the name servers. It's NS1.HELIOHOST.ORG and NS2.HELIOHOST.ORG. I just can't create FTP Accounts that go xxx@snusite.com or emails like xxx@snusite.com. Thanks for the fast reply.f
  18. Hey guys. I recently bought www.snusite.com , and I've added it onto the addon domains section of CPanel. My username is snuupy , and the domain, before I added it on was snusite.heliohost.org. However, I can't seem to use it or make an email or FTP Account with it...they're all broken. How would I fix this? I've been told that an admin (djbob) has to fix it, but I'm not sure, my geek staff have told me that. Is it fixable by me? Thanks, Snuupy
  19. Alright, sure. Also, another problem... My friend bought www.SnuSite.com for me yesterday. I did the server stuff, linked to ns1.heliohost...blah blah blah. Today, SnuSite.com started working. However in CPanel>addon domains, I don't see SnuSite. When I try to add SnuSite.com again, it says it's already configured... Where would I find the place to edit the stuff for it? Snuupy

  21. err bump? Should this thread be moved somewhere? I've seen other threads moved? Snuupy
  22. Hey there, I registered on Heliohost yesterday (or the day before, I forgot ), and I am VERY satisfied with this. However, I wanted to install a word press blog on my subdomain, blog.snusite.heliohost.org. My main site is SnuSite.heliohost.org. My username is snuupy. When I tried to use the Fantastico installer to install Word Press, I tried to install it to /public_html/blog . When the second step loaded, an error came up: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2097152 bytes) in /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico//includes/enc_check.inc.php on line 378 I tried again, and the above error kept appearing. I searched the forum and google on this, and I'm wondering how to increase the memory? But how would I do this if I don't have the source/install file? Would I have to install Word Press manually? If so, how? I've seen this as a problem for other users too, and I'm wondering how long it'll take to solve this problem. Thanks, -Snuupy
