When I type in main domain / home page I am receiving 403 error. However, pages within site are viewable by typing in complete address. Subdomains are viewable as well Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. I checked my .htaccess file and here is what is shown AuthName "No Access" AuthUserFile "/home/skully/.htpasswds/public_html/passwd" I haven't altered the access but it seems now to require password? skullythepirate.com skully

[Solved] How Do I Delete Database From Myphpadmin...
skullys replied to skullys's topic in Escalated Requests
Here are the ones I need dropped.... _1 _owa485 _piwi662 _piwi756 _piwi947 _stats I would still like to install Piwik or Open Web Analytics from Softaculous but I need to know how to do so without having the same problem of database showing up in MyPHPAdmin but not MySql. Seems to be a bug / conflict in the installation process and MySql. -
I have deleted all database in mysql but they still remain in myphpadmin. On a related note... databases were created while attepting to intall piwik from softaculous, they would show up in myphpadmin but NOT in mysql. If I attempted to create database with mysql, I would get notification that database name was already taken, however as I stated, database was only visible in myphpadmin and not in mysql.

Figured it out.... index file contained underscore ( index.html_ ) I removed underscore and now main domain comes up normally.

Just discovered this in the last day or two. I have not altered index.html files and everything was working fine previously. Web pages show up properly when full address is entered, only the base domain name brings up directory file listing. ie: index of /...then the individual file listing. skullythepirate.com skullypirate.com I'm going to cpanel and set index manager to no indexing until I can get the problem resolved.

I'm not the one making those login attempts. A great number of those appear to be China based IP's
-
Would you recommend adding those IP's to IP Deny in CPanel or would doing that not be very effective
-
Please reset skullythepirate.com Firewall block in place
-
Everything looks good. Cpanel now showing skullythepirate.com Thanks for the assistance!!
-
Yeah I've done that as well as used several different browsers.

Changed main domain from skully.com to skullythepirate.com. Site working properly with new domain, however CPanel still lists skully.com as the main domain and subdomains are listed as subdomain.skully.com. CPanel File manager does not list skullythepirate.com under dropdown menu also CPane FTP accounts show "login" @ skully.com. Is there a lag time before CPanel updates info with new Main Domain name or will it continue to show old domain name. Again, everything seems to be working fine under the new domain even without it being listed on CPanel

Thanks.... That's the info I needed!

Sorry for the confusion... skullythepirate.com is currently an addon domain While I appreciate your suggestion, My preference is to use a domain I already own as the main domain rather than utilizing a free heliohost.org one. So my question... Would listing skullythepirate.com as the main domain (with the understanding it would have to be removed from the add on list prior to changing to main domain) allow me to retain my current Heliohost account / Cpanel / and Password?
-
I already have another domain which I plan to use once the skully.com domain sale is finalized. The new domain is skullythepirate.com which at this time is listed as a subdomain of skully.com. If I remove the skullythepirate.com subdomain and then relist it as the main domain (using the Heliohost change main domain script) will my account /cpanel remain valid? Will it allow me to access my existing account using my current ID and password and will it then allow me to relist my other subdomains if necessary? I understand that once the new owner redirects the domain to new NS's that everything I have connected to that domain will no longer work. What I am trying to avoid is losing access to my established Heliohost account and having to create an entirely new one on Heliohost. A seamless transition as far as my "live" web sites are concerned with little or no disruption due to the Main Domain change. Sale of the skully.com domain will take place sometime next week and I just want to have everything in place beforehand. By changing the Main Domain in advance of the sale, it would allow me to then list skully.com as a subdomain of skullythepirate.com and then simply delete the subdomain once the sale goes through.
-
If I change my main domain (due to pending sale of domain) to one of the subdomains I have in my account will this alter all of my listed subdomains or will they remain in tact?

skully.com blocked by firewall....Please reset. Just curious, what triggers the block, this is twice in the last month?

Thanks for the speedy response....We're All Good Now!!

Need Firewall reset?... Having to use proxy to view or access site. Keep getting "Gateway Timeout: can't connect to remote host" when trying to view without proxy. Thanks!

[Solved] Problem Adding New Add On Domain...
skullys replied to skullys's topic in Escalated Requests
I did as you suggested but I still get the following messages... Addon Domains Message: 1) A DNS entry for the domain, "ecubasketball.com", already exists 2) The ftp account "ecubasketball" has been created. Subdomain Creation Message: 1) There was a problem creating the sub-domain: A DNS entry for the domain, "ecubasketball.skully.com", already exists Furthermore... No listing for ecubasketball is shown in either of my addons or subdomain listings, nor is there a "created" ftp account for ecubasketball.com shown. When I open file manager for home/skully/public_html, I see an" ecubasketball" folder as well as an "ecubasketball.com" folder which have been created. When I go the the Advanced DNS Zone Editor, there is an "ecubasketball.skully.com listed in the pull down menu, however when selected, there are no zone records listed. Thanks for any additional help in resolving this issue! -

I believe it was deleted 10 - 12 hours ago. I attempted a number of times to add the subdomain after experiencing problems but without success. Thanks for looking into this for me!
