  1. Do you support both subdomain and domain hosting? I mean, if I sign up for a subdomain hosting now... can I point/park my TL domains to that subdomain? Much like what AH4F does... or do I need to sign up for a domain hosting then?

  3. No Caller ID?!?!? That's bad. Few days back I wrote down lines and lines of code to retrieve Caller ID information from my modem... but later realized that my modem doesn't support Caller ID!!! I'm now veeeeery angry about devices which doesn't support Caller ID.

  9. Last week we had campus interviews in our college, where one of my friend had a tough time facing the interviewer. It was a technical interview, so he had expected question on C,C++ and of course... pointers! Here's a bit of the conversation: Interviewer: What are pointers? Friend: Variables that hold the memory address of another variable. I: So they hold some value? F: No, they hold memory addresses. I: But since they are variables, they hold some kind of value. F: Err... ummm.... well... yes. I: Okay, so what is Rupee? F: Indian currency. I: No, what does it do? F: Lets us buy things, do shopping.... I: I mean, aren't they like variables? F: Variables?!?!?! I: Even they hold some kind of value. Each note has a different value. F: Err... ummm.... well... yes. I: So, we can say that Rupee is a pointer? F: ?!?!?!? I: Now, when we can buy something with Rupee, we should also be able to buy something with pointers? F: Huh?!?! I: So... can you buy computers with pointers? F: No... how's that possible? I: If you can buy computers with Rupee, can't you buy them with pointers? F: Err... ummm.... well... yes... no... maybe... I: Think about it and tell me properly, whether you can buy Computers with pointers or Pointers with Computers. F: (thought for a looooooong time)... Thank you very much sir! It was too much for him

  15. WYSIWYG editors are not at all good. I used to use Netscape Composer during my early web designing days back in 1998... but soon I realized that it was doing me no good. I switched to Windows Notepad... and still use that to write my HTML as well as PHP pages. I use Dreamweaver only when the PHP pages shows an error... its easy to find the line numbers using Dreamweaver.
  16. I would go for Intel. I have used PI, PIII and am currently using PIV. PIV is a bit noisy... but then its really fast!!!
  17. I use BitSpirit... that's really cool. I usually check http://www.bi-torrent.com
  18. I'm happy with my Windows XP Pro. It super cool, supports Hyperthreading technology and is pretty secure and stable.
  19. I am currently using a Nokia phone and its pretty good. I used to earlire use a Siemens and that was good too... just didn't have enough battery backup. Earlier Motorola phones used to have the worst battery backups... but now they are improving. I usually look for battery backup, features and voice clarity in a cell phone. Its really hard to say if any single brand is good... because a Nokia might be good as an entry-level phone, but if you move higher up the price level, there are other very good phones which beats Nokia.
  20. I don't know whether I'm politically correct or not... but I support piracy, if I didn't put in the hard work to create that thing. I regularly download MP3s, DivX and XviDs... eat and sleep torrents... But I would definitely NOT like my work to be pirated.
  21. Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Johnny English, True Lies.... I like them any given day.
