    condellenteprises.com - but it does not show up under parked or addon domains. As it shouldnt. How can this be deleted?

     

    Dont confuse this with condellenterprises.com which is correct.

  2. Some issues with cgi forms.

     

    1. cPanel cgi option lists 2 form options, FormMail and cgiemail. But only cgiemail exists in the Helio root folder for the Helio account I have. Does that mean that FormMail isnt offered?

     

    2. When a domain is added, a cgi-bin folder is added too. Is this redundant if we should be using the cgi-bin folder in the root domain?

     

    ....am still in the process of trying to get a form working on my website.....

    Mike O: OK, so the name servers are not resolving properly. Unfortunately, as the registrar of the domain, we would only have access to changing the name servers, and then the name servers would need to propagate. If there is an issue that the name server does not propagate after the 72 hour mark, then you would need to contact the hosting company managing those name servers and get them to investigate this issue for you. If you were to have aplus.net name servers, we could implement an A record change, but that's all we can do at this time. I do apologize

     

    Mike O: Unfortunately once the name servers have been added, all we can do is change the name servers again. We cannot control the propagation of the name servers. You will need to contact the host for that.

    Not sure whether the issue is at the current web hosting company, Aplus.Net, or at Heliohost.

     

    I successfully transferred several domains in the last week to Helio from Aplus but the last one has taken over 72 hours. Upon trying to add on domain in Heliohost, I get the following error:

     

    Error from park wrapper: Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

     

    Domain is condellenterprises.com

     

    Even WHOIS is listing the correct Heliohost nameservers.

  5. I am transferring a number of domains by pointing them to Helio.

     

    After 4 of them, the next couple gave me an error on the other web hosting company's site.

     

    Said that the nameserver (at Helio) was not resolving properly.

     

    Tried again after 15 minutes, same problem.

     

    Pointed to ns1.heliohost.org and ns2.heliohost.org

     

    Is there a limit on how many sites can be pointed to Helio in a given time period?

    I currently have an account username: condell on Stevie.

     

    I've run into a problem where I was expereimenting with some of the Softaliscious programs and inadvertently upset my stable domains and emails etc.

     

    I'd like to request a second account on the Johnny server where I can "test" the Softaliscious programs. If you approve, please transfer my domain condellprojex.net to the Johnny server.

     

    I can then access ok - both servers from the same computer? I use mobile internet (USB dongle) so not sure if the IP address stays the same or not. Just hoping I dont freeze everything because of your policy re dual account usage.

     

    My thanks to the Helio team for being very brace to run this service!

  7. I've removed all the Softaliscious installations I am not currently using. The rest I have locked behind protected directories.

     

    If Support could answer my 3 questions in my previous post above, that would be great.

     

    ...forgot to add, that I really should move my experiments with Softalicisious programs to Johhny server and leave Stevie for my stable interests....

     

    Will do so after we get my Condell account moving again.

    Ok, answered my own Q2, found the errant emails under File Mgr under "new" folder but wasnt linked to a mailbox I had...so I've emptied it and seems like no new ones filling it up

     

    Good sign its fixed. As I deleted the Elgg installation completely.

    Had no idea. I've removed/unistalled completely the Elgg installation- I was only exploring it for future use.

     

    Q1. Could I have protected the entire driectory condellprojex.org/elgg as a means of stopping spam bots while trying Elgg out?

     

    Q2. Where could I have seen that my account tried to send so many emails in a period of time? Curious (and so I can learn....)

     

    Q3. Can you restore the normal email limits now?

     

    I dont recall seeing anything about email limits in any of the basic info or FAQ about Heliohost, might help others.

     

    I would not normally send 50 emails a day, so should be ok once you restore my sending rights.

  9. It is now a week later (away and ill), and I just tried to send 3 emails, 2 were returned with mail not delivered messages.

     

    So I am still restricted to just 1 email an hour! :angry:

     

    It does seem that its more than 1 email an hour outgoing which is tripping the problem, not who I am sending to.

     

    The domain names sent to include:

    • engineersaustralia.org.au
    • latrobe.edu.au
    • hotmail.com
    • gmail.com

    ...so its affecting a range of domains, all of which I've emailed successfuly for 2 decades.

     

    This is my main business email address, so your URGENT help will be welcomed.

  10. I have not used my email account for 5 days.

     

    So today I send out 7 emails, first one is sent, the others all trigger a mail not delivered email back to my account stating that I have exceeded the maximum emails 1 allowed per hour!

     

    I havent had this problem since joining heliohost a few months ago.

     

    I tried another email account on the same domain, and had the same error.

     

     

    User: condell

    Server: Stevie

    Domain: condell.com.au

     

    Main email address: murray@condell.com.au

    Secondary: drinks@condell.com.au

     

     

    Dont think I've ever sent anywhere near 50 emails out on any day.

     

    Quick assistance needed! (Sorry, couldnt work out how to post on Customer Service forum, not allowed or wrong forum heading).

  11. You can install a Softalicious program onto each domain under your Heliohost wehosting account.

     

    Can a Softalicious program be installed under a subdomain as well, and if so, how?

     

    Say cow.com, then the subdomain fred.cow.com, bieng able to install under "fred" subdomain one of the Softalicious programs.

  12. If I request a SSL setup at $12/yr, what will this actually mean? (I read the wiki item on this, already)

     

    Q1. Is the entire webhosting for all the domains on my Heliohost account moved to an SSL service, or just the nominated domain?

     

    Q2. If the entire Heliohost account is moved does that mean all my domains have to use https:// ?

     

    Q3. I'm looking into this because I'm considering using Oxwall social network program from Softaliscious on Heliohost. I'm assuming that one really should use SSL for that, yes?
