It is not because of your ISP, everyone is experiencing this error.

I am not that familiar with PunBB, but I believe that you can just change the config.php file(or some other configuration file, like most php forum software that require MySQL). Set the database information inside the file to that of Heliohost. It will not overwrite the data, it is just telling PunBB to get information (threads, replies, users, et cetera) from that database. Since you already transfered the .sql data, everything should then be working properly.

The cPanel developers were trying to be nice and fixing our problem, but they made it worse.

Go to phpmyadmin(in Cpanel), click on import (top menu), browse and find your sql file, then click Go. You can also execute a SQL query by clicking on SQL (top menu), typing or pasting your query and clicking go. The first method is the easier one.

My domain privatetalk[dot]co[dot]cc still has not been activated and it has been 3 days (including the part of re-registering because of installation error).

You have to wait at least 24 hours before your account is fully activated. Everybody who is signing up now is experiencing this issue, so don't worry, its normal.

I agree with Wizard. It is because djbob is cool and nice. Maybe your domain suspected that it was spam, you can either check your spam folder and/or add no-reply@heliohost.org and admin@helionet.org to your friends list.

I can assure you that you are not the only one who is receiving this problem. We can only wait for an administrator to approve your account.

When did you sign up? You must wait around 24 hours before your account will be activated. Also, you must be sure that you set the domain nameserver to that of HelioHost.

I use Windows the most (Windows Vista to be exact), but I personally like Linux (Ubuntu) better.
