how come, from cpanel, I'm able to connect and verify the databases using myphpadmin? I can see that the tables look perfectly OK.

I can connect using cpanel mysql phpadmin, but my website returns these kind of errors upon any interaction with the database "PDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 1467 Failed to read auto-increment value from storage engine: INSERT INTO {watchdog}...", The website server code makes the connection using PHP. Can't remember exact syntax as it's Drupal core code which has worked on thousands of websites for many years. domain name is herts.heliohost.org, server is stevie I think. Hi, I have a number of websites using the mysql database. Using mysqlphpadmin the tables seem to be OK. I think for quite a few weeks I am unable to make a connection between my server php code and the database. Seems to me some kind of reset may be required but not sure if I have any rights to do that. Can you help? Thanks

Hi, For some reason I have been unable to login using FTP for some time now. It did used to work. It gives me '530 Login authentication failed' after '331 User shali OK' Last time after FTP login failure I was able to upload file using CPanel 'file manager' and the the 'upload' utility. Now that complains that the files I'm uploading have virus which they don't. I get this error in the bottom right hand corner of the upload page "C:\fakepath\sport_ladder.tar.gz: unknown Bytes complete FAILED! :Upload canceled: VIRUS DETECTED! (Access denied. ERROR)" So I've got 2 problems which would be good to resolve. thanks Nick

It was working until a day or so ago but now stopped. I now get this msg which I know is drupal core msg but may help. "Unable to send e-mail. Contact the site administrator if the problem persists." This is the site "http://west-herts-squash.heliohost.org". I have had a problem before when the email forwarder seemed to stop sending to my work a/c but it started working again after I changed one of the forwarded addresses. It seems to me the email system on helio servers is not too stable. thanks Nick

for the account 'shali' whose main domain is 'herts.heliohost.org' I created a subdomain 'croxley-tennis' a few days ago. However I still get 'helio account queued' when I try to access 'http://croxley-tennis.herts.heliohost.org' in a browser. I notice the sub-dir 'croxely-tennis' has successfully been created off my 'public_html' root. I thought this creation of a subdomain maybe automatic, but it looks like you need to do something to get the page to show.

yes, I wanted the domain to change from 'shali.heliohost.org' to 'herts.heliohost.org'

Hi, Last Friday, about 4 days ago, I tried to change my domain for user 'shali' from 'shali' to 'herts'. I used http://www.heliohost.../scripts/domain and it said I should wait 48 hours for the changes to take effect. However I don't think anything has happened. Should I wait longer or assume that this request will not work? thanks McCozza
