[HH#618312] Getting access to my DB from another tool
HelioHost replied to HelioHost's topic in Email Support
When I attempt the connection, here is what I get: An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the table/view list from current database connection. And. Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (The connection attempt failed.) Not very helpful I am afraid. Thanks, Jim -
Username: jimkosloskey, Server: Tommy, Main domain: jim-kosloskey.com.helioho.st Hi, I have been successfully using DB-Visualizer to work in my DB. The goal of this effort was to construct a simple table; a simplistic Stored Procedure to extract from the table; and successfully invoke the Stored Procedure. I have accomplished that, The final goal now is to invoke that same Stored Procedure form another tool which uses JDBC. What do you need to know to allow this other tool access? My Db is called jimkosloskey_test_mule, username=jimkosloskey_whosis. The name of the tool is Cloverleaf (it is a commercial Data Integration Engine toolset). Thank you for your consideration, Jim Kosloskey

Username: quest, Server: Johnny, Main domain: quest.heliohost.org Hi my website stopped displaying and the default plesk webpage just shows. I have cleared my cachea few times already and that did not work either. I have been logging in before the 30 days period. my last log in was July 25th so im not sure why I needed to reactive my account. Thanks, Jason From: HelioHost Sent: Tuesday, August 13, 2024 10:15 AM To: jason@questmf.com Subject: Account Renewed Hey Quest, I have great news, your account is now active again! In order to keep your account active, all you need to do is return to heliohost.org and login to your account at least once every 30 days. Our apologies for requiring you to log in to your account to continue using it. We understand that once you get your website perfected there is little reason to view your control panel anymore, but if we didn't have a way of determing which accounts were abandoned our servers would quickly become even more overloaded than they already are. Thank you, I did change the A record on Cloudflare and all is back and working. The bad news is I was prompted to re-update the wordpress modules that got outdated, I did that and it worked and looked fine yesterday, but today after login into my plesk page I get this: Warning: Subscription was suspended. All your sites are not available. I figure I have reached the 1000mb limit after the last update and need to remove the broken wordpress install and dupe backups. Problem is I can't delete anything since I can't access the files anymore as I'm suspended; and I can't connect via ftp since I had to reset my password yesterday. Is there a workaround so could at least connect with ftp and clean up my mess? Yes, it was the new ip indeed. I already changed it back when you installed Plesk, I had no clue it changed again. Thanks, I was able to reset my pw and sign in. Now I have another issue that may not be related, I have been getting an Error code 523 on my sites hosted here. I don't know if it has anything to do with the Plesk cert update, but the sites have been unreachable for a couple of weeks now. Username: jjo2007, Server: Tommy, Main domain: jjo2007.heliohost.org Hi Heliohost. Have I gone over deadline for logging into my account ? And if so, what do I need to do about it ? My files are all there (I have just revised one) but this message is showing instead of the website: "The webpage at*https://www.jjo2007.heliohost.org/*might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address." I have not received a warning email about this, like the following which I received in February... Thank you for your patience. As you have pointed out the old server is using ubuntu 20, so I'll use the new one to save your time. I've already downloaded the backup you can remove the old server. VPS number: 77, VPS ID: 319 Thanks, and sorry for the late reply. I'm only running a test database on here, and I have the data to restore it. So as long as the new VPS has the same open ports/permissions as the old one I should be good. I'm able to login, but am not seeing postgres on my VPS so I'll reinstall and reach out if I have any issues. You can get rid of any backups/old data that you have and I'll take this opportunity to upgrade to the latest version of PostgreSQL ?. ________________________________
