Username: smi93ctb1, Server: Tommy, Main domain: z.helioho.st Hi, I was just wondering why I can't access the site or the VPs itself. Yes, you can recreate and upgrade using Ubuntu 22. Am I getting the same IP? Can you also add a panel manager like hesta? Also I asked for a subdomain before , you gave me x.heliohost.org can I have new one named zane? Pls don't forget to add PTR I wish you guys luck in getting the data on the crashed server. I'm pretty sure I have backup of the files in the server so you can take your time. VPS number: 20, VPS ID: 281 Do whatever you think is best. I haven't been using my VPS, but have continued paying out of support and in case I had a future need. I'm happy to continue my subscription, or to let it go if there are others in line for access who might use it immediately. Well, then if there is a concrete possibility of recovering my Windows installation as it was, with its data and configuration, then I would prefer to wait, for now. Thank you. Username: wanghley, Server: Tommy, Main domain: wanghley.com Dear HelioHost Team, I hope this message finds you well. I recently received a notification that my account (username: wanghley) has been suspended due to your detection system identifying multiple accounts associated with my IP address. Upon reviewing the situation, I realized that my friend (username: ambulis) and I were in the same network at home. I understand and respect your policy that each individual is allowed only one account unless prior permission is granted for special circumstances such as shared IP usage. To prevent any future issues, could you please advise on the correct procedure for ensuring compliance with your terms of service? Specifically, how should we proceed to ensure that both accounts remain active without risking suspension? Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and apologize for any inconvenience caused. Username: N/A, Server: N/A, Main Domain: N/A FYI, not an urgent question at all. David Heinemeier Hansson's latest product Writebook is a Rails app for publishing a book on a Web server. The installation instructions include: 1. Point DNS to the IP address of the machine that?ll be hosting Writebook. You need to point a domain (example.com) or subdomain ( writebook.example.com) to the IP address of the machine hosting Writebook. Make sure it?s a straight DNS pointer, no proxying! (Don?t worry about SSL, Writebook will automatically set that up for you). 2. NEXT, connect a terminal to the machine. To run the install command, you must connect to the machine you?re using with either SSH or a web-based cloud console. 3. LAST, install Writebook with one simple command. Paste the following into the terminal on your server and wait while everything is installed (this may take up to 5 minutes). /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://auth.once.com/install/ )" I'm curious what the lowest-featured plan you offer would be that can support doing the above (in particular, steps 2 and 3). Thanks in advance, Al -- Finding a solution to a problem requires different thinking from that which created the problem. - paraphrasing Albert Einstein

Dear People of Helio Host, I?m interesting to get your Morty Plan. When can I get it? Best Regards JOSE CANELON De: HelioHost Support [mailto:support@heliohost.org] Enviado el: s?bado, 25 de mayo de 2024 23:08 Para: jrcanelon75@gmail.com Asunto: Re: [HH#520450] INFO ABOUT PLAN TOMY - MORTY Tommy plans are available immediately, and start at a one-time donation of $1. There is no recurring price after that and you are welcome to keep the account for 10 years or however long you want. The main difference between Johnny, the server you're already on, and Tommy is there are no free accounts on Tommy. Other than that Johnny and Tommy support all the same languages and databases. Both Tommy and Johnny require you to login every 30 days or less to keep your account active. If you ignore the emails reminding you to login your website is taken offline for inactivity, but you can easily restore it whenever you want through our website. Morty plans are not available yet, but we hope to have that server released soon. Morty plans will start at $1 per month, and you pay more depending on how much load your account causes. On Johnny and Tommy if you exceed the 100 GB per day memory limit or the 10k CPU per day limit you get suspended, but on Morty you will never get suspended for high load, we will just charge you more up to a maximum of $20 per month. Morty plans don't ever go inactive, and you never need to login if your account still has money in it. You will be able to pay for Morty for a year in advance. For instance, if you know your account won't cause very much load you could easily just put $12 into your account and your website would stay online for a year as long as you don't have any load spikes that cause the price to increase. [HH#269943] Inquiring about hosting .net web appliance
HelioHost replied to HelioHost's topic in Email Support

Username: N/A, Server: N/A, Main Domain: N/A Hello Helio Host Team, Hope you are doing well. I have a few questions if you can help me please. Btw, i'm planning to avail the Tommy 25USD plan. 1. Do you guys run on top of AWS, Azure, or Google CP? 2. I want to host a postgresql database and a webapi for a small project I am working on, is it allowed to run it in your hosting where I make a profit from said projects? I dont expect much traffic, prolly 500-1000 request per day on the webapi, and maybe less than 2000 read/writes on postgre. 3. I looked into your documentation, how difficult is it to set up a .net 8 web api? Thank you for your time. And please know that you are doing an amazing job with Helio! Cheers! E
