  1. 'browning' I just redirected the MX on NetSol to google since I can't seem to make Heliohost reliable option in past 24 hours. I appreciate free but if it doesn't work it doesn't mean anything. Too many issues with Johnny and can't get on Tommy and not up for blindly paying a donation hosting fee for what appears to largely not work with my 8 hours I put in to Heliohost in 24 hours. I can't even use Java! The whole point of testing hosted code. I just tried at 5pm to get a Tommy account but its saying its full. fyi, more failures on your Johnny system including webemail - I tried all 3 and either ending with a huge exception stack or timeout. I've tried evaluating your services for the past day and although I'd love to like it, I continue to have issues on most fronts. Your only advice is to move to Tommy and I can't pay for anything given this service. The way you've set this up to delete a Johnny account and "hope" to get a Tommy account at 5pm is very troublesome. I love free, but if it does not work, free does not mean anything. In fact, I've spent a day on this and back at the start. Additionally, nowhere have I worked do Dev, QA and Production use different scripts to bootstrap. The point is in dev/testing that the systems are brought up in the same manner as production. Hand modifying dev/qa/testing and hoping it works in prod is not a best practice. Johnny was also completely unresponsive earlier - which is beyond a high load, its broken - even for a test env. You can't test anything if its broken. I appreciate your efforts but I'm at a loss how you think anyone can use Johnny.

  7. now my IP has been blocked because of the ftp issues. also, I don't believe the other ftp account I created works. also, making ftp accounts via Addon Domain failed. also, cPanel on Johnny is unresponsive for at least an hour. please unblock my IP The IP address 73.93.141.131 has been blocked for trying to log in to SFTP with the wrong password too many times. Actually I understand what you are saying about the load being high and how you separate your customers - however, if Addon Domain breaks, Johnny is unusable for people, defeating the point of any testing. And as these configs are deleted and tested again or due to how you acquire a Tommy server, deleting and re-creating accounts, its imperative this works, unless you contact Customer Service every time. As a software engineer, if running an application is unpredictable, it is broken - sorry. I receive Command: PASS **** Response: 530 Login authentication failed Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server I have rechecked accounts and passwords. I used the download ftp config file for FileZilla. this is ftping to: ftp.browning.heliohost.org with 'browning' or 'browning@sfskier.com' not sure if this is part of Addon Domain not completing. also, when previously I did Addon Domain with the option of creating a ftp account, that account was never created either.   10. You could check them out; sfskier.com and bgb.net. I did AddonDomain for eac= h of those with 'browning' account and have not touched it since. I don't se= e them listed in the Addon Domain section but they seem partially configured= . If its too busy to correctly finish, then the scripting is broken. It need= s to atomically complete to have any confidence its configured correctly, ev= en if it takes a while. Did it complete 50%, 90%? Maybe you could test Addon Domain in another account for errors after checki= ng these domains.   11. I deleted the old account, created a new one 'browning' and then added domain sfskier.com via Addon Domain but there is not any entry in Addon Domain now for sfskier.com. There was the error message again about ending prematurely but in a previous email you said not to worry and that was just the server being busy. However, I'm not convinced this completed successfully as there is no entry in Addon Domain to manage the domain. Please see if you are able to successfully add domains in Addon Domain on Johnny and confirm there is not a problem. Thanks.

The Addon Domain did not complete correctly. ftp accounts were not created. bgb.net is missing from domains but when I try to add the domain again it says apache configs have already been created for bgb.net.   13. Are you using email forwarding or alias? I would assume forward is just for external forwarding and alias is good for local alias of a name to an account. How is your forwarding configured after I go through the Email Forwarding section of the console? If I have an account 'blaine' and I setup a forward from 'blaine.browning' to 'blaine' in the console, is it really forwarded or is an alias created? The UI isn't explicit if I map ' running@bgb.net' to 'skiing@bgb.net' if that is created as a forward or alias. Surely if would be a forward if it was external; 'running@bgb.net' to 'running@runnersworld.com' but are you forwarding locally? Thanks, Blaine

  15. I see. Upon attempting to create my account again, it says user "blaine" is not available, yet it was just deleted. I'd like to be able to have the same account especially if I am going to have to delete and recreate servers. Are the usernames not recycled or is it not fully deleted?   16. I signed up today at 4pm and it said Tommy was full and to take Johnny server and I could always switch later. Apparently, that means deleting the account and starting over - which I have done but now the sign up process says Tommy is full and to wait 20 hours. I previously waited until 5pm to try this. How can I get on the Tommy server? Thanks. In the mean time, it seems the account isn't really deleted. Even though I can't login anymore, http://bgb.net is still working so I'm not sure if I need to let more time pass or how I can fully delete it.
