i've just noticed that the homepage for heliohost has been updated, but i think its missing something... a link to the forum. i think right next to the support button, there should be one that says forum.

yea, phpbb offers full control over everything, you can change everything, and its easy to use, if you need forum software, use phpbb (you can install it from "fantastico de lux" on your control pannel)

if you click on the file manager, it checks if you have the requirements to run it, if your connection is slow, or your computer doesn't have enough ram or cpu power it kicks it down a version.

there is one in the "site software pannel" its called phpchat, it gets the job done pretty well. (you can view mine at http://gamer-hotspot.heliohost.org/gamerchat/ so you can see if you like it)

You missed my point. You were the last person to post in the thread. The problems were exactly the same (not a new problem). There's no reason to make a new post if the problem is the same and you're still the last poster. no, that problem happened a week ago, this is new. and as i said above, it doesn't show any new posts (so i wouldn't get any help) if i didn't post a new post. :angry: sorry i wanted some help :angry: -

Do you realize that doesn't make sense... let me try to explain to you what an index file is... an index file is a file that the browser opens if you put in a directory like www.google.com/ or blank.blank.blank/blank/ an index file can be anything, usually its your homepage. if you are trying to make a homepage, make a file called index.html in your www directory and then open it for editing. then put this inside of it: <html> <head> <title>your page title here</title> </head> <body> the text you want the page to display </body> </html>

Thank you, all of my Services/Software panel items are working. In fact, you fixed a problem I was trying to get fixed before with the Site Software item. (It would not install anything) Now, everything is working fine; thank you. PS: I ran my post through Microsoft Word before posting. -

i am having problems opening fantastico de luxe and trying to use any links inside of cgi center. ps: i did not realize there were spelling/grammar issues in my last post. -
nothing in the software/services (on the cpannel) except the php and the ruby tools are working, they all are claiming the files are missing. i did recently get my site moved to stivie

you know, i never looked at it like that, its just even more reason to use wikipedia

i know the overall worst game (plus i should have some credibility, i run a game reviews site) ET for the atari. several hundred copies are buried near pheonix. it didn't even come with a instruction manual gameplay was also completely pointless, and you died no matter what.

i know countless people that all will never use wikipedia, because everyone can edit it. but i am on the other side of this argument, wikipedia is monitored by everyone including the admins, so if something crazy gets put in, it can get fixed and if it happens enough they can lock it. what do you think about wikipedia?
