  1. Crap...maybe I'll find some dvd's at a library or something. Figures though; my satellite package contains nearly every channel imaginable, but SciFi isn't purchased.
  2. Is it on a national tv station? Like abc, cbs, fox, or something?
  3. I'm having trouble figuring out my processor. I know it's an intel pentium 4 processor 2.8ghz And it has a part number c0724, but I can't figure out what kind of socket it uses or what I could buy to replace it. Can you help? edit: I think this is more specific: Processor Type Pentium 4 Processor Brand Intel Clock Speed 2.8 GHz Bus Speed 800 MHz Cache Level 1 Size 8 KB another edit: I found it! socket 478 So I just need to find a processor that requires socket 478 right? Should I worry about bus speed or anything else, or is that just part of the processor? another edit: Crap...looks like I'm unupgradeable. The only socket 478 processors are pentium 4's. Do I have to match the socket or can I change that too?
  4. I hope you're not talking about 1000 posts per month... Awesomegamer is probably the most active person I know from this community and only has 1000 posts since 2005. Let's see, 50,000 x .02 = 1,000(interest per day) x about 30 is 30,000 so that logic makes since; through in the fact that the accumulated money will accumulate more interest every day, but that won't make that much of a difference. I just want to know how you're supposed to get 50,000 freakin' helion's...
  5. Sorry about the double post. I just wanted to make it clear that I was all confused since I was so happy in the one before it(sorry for the excuse, lol). Anyway, what does that buy a credit card thing underneath it mean? What would the point of that be? EDIT: anyway, I figured out the interest thing. quoted from awesomejoe
  6. I've never seen doctor who. Sounds like I'm going to have to though. I've only heard about once or twice... Are there still seasons on tv now? or in the near future?
  7. Actually, Is is every day, or every 24 hours? It actually seems like it's already been both for some of the deposits. Anyway, it's bound to be just a few hours away from 24...So I guess I just answered my own question, but can somebody confirm this?
  8. Wow...those are excellent. Drentse Aa bij Oudemolen really stands out to me. Not sure what it is about it, but it really moves me.
  9. I just saw a commercial for some kind of breakthrough technology that detoxifies your body by absorbing toxins through the foot. (?) Uh, ooookkkk. This didn't seem to make much sense to me, so I googled "Kinoki" and the first thing that came up was a sponsored link that said, "Kinoki A Scam" LOL. What do you guys think about this "Kinoki technology"? Can this even possibly be legit?
  10. Thanks for your input. I'm not really sure where to begin my researching. I have a pretty old desktop right now and I've upgraded basically every part in it except for 3 things: the pentium 4 intel processor, the soundblaster sound card, and the 56k modem. The only one of those that I'm really needing to upgrade, I think, is the processor. So, any suggests as to where to begin? Should I research my old one to see what type of socket it uses to know what to look for for a new one? I think I better do that...
  11. AWESOME!, lol. Thanks a bunch. I have a very similar routine that I can integrate interest into as well, lol.
  12. I don't understand how this works...How often do I receive that interest?
  13. Are there certain types of processor connectors? For example, graphics cards can be attached in pci, pci express or agp ports. Ram can be in ddr ddr2 ddr3, etc. Is there anything like that that you have to worry about if you are considering buying a new processor?
  14. It's amazing how young we all are here. I guess the older people are all able to buy web hosting while all of us broke young people can't even part with a dime.
  15. I like xboxes, especially their controller. I don't know why, but I've never liked the feel of the sony controller. I've never really used a wii so I can't compare that, so I'll stick with the good ol' xbox360(as long as it doesn't get a stupid red light of death)...
  16. AWESOME FIND! lol. that is so cool! I'll have to show this off to people
  17. I guess you are right sungazer. I still say there is nothing wrong with Vista, but some stuff is unnecesary or undesirable. It does basically the same thing as xp, just a little less effeciently for ram and hdd. Very nice desktop, by the way...
  18. Happy Bday, kim-lan. Also for all the college bball fans out there, Dick Vitale celebrated a birthday a couple days ago.
  19. I'm going to be starting a cult soon guys. We believe the Earth is actually a box like shape, and that the moon is a flat slice of cheese in the sky! anyone want to join? ))
  20. I don't see what's so bad about vista. You just have to configure it. After you do that, you can optimize its ram and hd options, along with security stuff and it works ok. I feel that it's actually very similar to xp, just a little better looking.
  21. Thanks for sharing Lilium. I looked into that, and it looks like there's a 30 day evaluation period to figure it out. I have the same problem as Starry.
  22. I have a windows MCE vista edition remote, but I don't have media center. I want to get it to work with XP, home or basic, doesn't matter; I've got access to both. Has anybody done this or know of a program or something that will allow this to work?
  23. http://www.freehostsfinder.com/host-review...p?HostID=138.P9 Here is one of them that posted automatically. The other one said it was waiting for administrative review or something so I'll be posting it as soon as it comes up.
  24. Just to throw in my 2 cents... I had never worked with linux at all, then I installed ubuntu and I loved it. So absolutely no problems there, but I guess I still don't know much about linux. So a complete linux noob can setup and use ubuntu no problem.
