Thanks wolstech. No address is particular as hotmail is refusing all emails to any hotmail.com or outlook.com address i try to send to.

I tried sending emails from tommy to hotmail, but they are bouncing. I think its all users sharing tommy's ip that should be having this issue, but since i have seen nobody else bringing it up could anybody please test it from their account and see if they get refused emails

i don't want to butt in, just want to understand the mechanics. Don't all users on the same server get the same ip address? say me and this guy both reside on tommy, don't we both use tommy's address, namely 65.19.143.6

Whilst monitoring bounced emails due to the blacklisting on Tommy i realized that Tommy's email trace is on GMT + 3 timezone. I am on GMT + 2 (since Sunday due to summer time shift). Is the email trace time stamp tied to the server's time, which is pacific time if i remember correctly or to the user's timezone, or can it be set independently, and if yes how.

I don't want to sound demanding or arrogant, but can it be resolved? Hotmail is now refusing emails originating from tommy citing blacklisting and it is causing mayhem with forwarded emails bouncing back.

Tommy's mail server is blacklisted with CBL IP Address 65.19.143.6 is listed in the CBL. It shows signs of being infected with a spam sending trojan, malicious link or some other form of botnet. I just created a tommy account and uploaded the files from a stevie backup. Now I am trying to setup an addon domain. I changed my A entry to 65.19.143.6 to point to tommy yet i am still getting an error saying: XID fe9thk) Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver. the domain I am trying to add is fcs.com.mt and my username is fcsltd. This domain was setup and working on Stevie with my current name servers, i don't know what i am doing wrong this time round. Thanks.

Yes I gathered that from the various posts on here. The setup worked for a number of years but has its drawbacks in situations like this.

So do I gather correctly in saying that stevie actually resides at he? And the mods have no physical access to it to see if there is any hardware malfunction?

this is the exception not the rule. check the archives of http://heliohost.grd.net.pl/monitor/ and you can see that stevie has quite and oustanding uptime consider this is a free service.

it is giving some signs of life (replying to ping) but cpanel and website are still down.

and me too anyways we cannot really grumble they do an amazing job and stevie has been quite stable for over a long time. its only these couple of days that there's hiccups.
