Who came first, the chicken or the egg?

On here, we don't go try and reason this out with logic about which came first. It's whomever posts the funniest story wins.

Lets see... well while the chicken was crossing the road, the egg was fiendishly hatching a plan to off the chicken. However, a 16-wheeler semi took care of chicken before the egg could.

Result:

Egg: 1

Chicken: 0

Semi Truck: 1

eleventy bijillion*bubble gum.

But co1dfus1on is right, you should provide details if you want anyone to even consider helping you. Posting something like "help plz, how do I make it go" is n00by behavior.

Also, there are usually guides on the 'net to tell you what you need to know about getting Linux to work on your computer.

The computer's pretty much the most versatile, and the most customizable.

I remember when I was in Elementary School, they made us use either Dogpile or Ask Jeeves...

I don't really trust any of you. None of you have any experience with Linux server admin. People go to college to learn how to handle these things - I highly doubt any of you would know what to do if the server crashed.

You're right, I have no server experience . Maybe there are small tasks that can be handled by us so that you can focus on keeping heliohost up?

Out of curiousity, did you go to college to learn how to manage a server?

Dogpile's good for music. And most content blockers these days nail all the proxies. I try to open up something in altavista translator and I get "Blocked, under section 'Proxy Avoidance'"

I believe you are suppose to highlight the black on black text to read the punchline.

So a guy goes to his blonde girlfriend's house, and he wants to catch a movie with her.

guy: lets go watch a movie.

guy: um... lets just go watch a movie.

Firefox is better. But IE7 has come a long way, it is actually a pretty well done broswer.

On another note, why is this in the Open Source category!?! Last time I checked, Microsoft wasn't giving away their IE code.

Google and Dogpile(for music) are the only two I bother to use.

There are three kids, really smart kids. Their father wants to put them to the test to see who is the smartest. The father tells each kid that he is putting either a black dot on their foreheads or a red dot on their foreheads. If one child sees AT LEAST one black dot on someone else's forehead, he is to raise his hand. So he puts them in a room and asks them to find out what color they have on their forehead. How does one figure it out?

 

There are no tricks like a mirror or smudging it, they figured it out by logic.

The kids begin to think...

There are 18 different variations...

If one kid has a dot on his head, two kids should raise their hands...

If two kids have a dot on their heads, all three kids should raise their hands...

...

in the end. They all walk out the smartest, because they figured their father wasn't worth pleasing if they had to complete for his love.

I play piano and clarinet. I can sing, (badly ) and I used to play the cello when I was very young. I'd like to pick up guitar, violin, trumpet, and a few other instruments.

It looks cool, but wouldn't it be a contradiction to the name? Off the top of my head, I believe Helios was a sun god, so that's why all the colors are shiny and bright on the forum, I would think.

Ubuntu's good if you have moderate experience, or a lot of patience to configure stuff if you just came from Windows. Mandriva is good if you need something completely n00by.
