1. Hi.. I am getting an error when I try to install anything on Fantasico.... As I found here (http://www.helionet.org/index/index.php?showtopic=4143&st=0entry41136), it seems I'm not the only one. Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico//includes/enc_check.inc.php on line 378 Help?
2. I don't think running it in the user directory would have effected Fantastico anyway because it seems to only get installed after you go to it from cpanel. Do you always get the same error "Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted" on any program you try to install? Go to your cpanel and look at what the "Disk Space Usage" says. I'm not logged in right now, but I think it was about 36MB, nowhere near the limit. Yes it is always the same. I might have another go in the morning and see if it just hadn't seen the deletion of everything yet. Because it did say .1MB over the limit before.
3. As far as I know there isn't anything in the public_html directory that as anything to do with Fantastico. Did you run that script inside your user directory by any chance? Have you tried installing a smaller program to see if it will install? I definitely ran it in the public_html directory. I have tried installing several things, none of them working...
4. Um I have a problem... the script worked, but now I can't install using Fantastico... I get this: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico//includes/enc_check.inc.php on line 378
5. I think they're (MX Records) located in your user directory inside the etc folder but I'm not 100% sure. I really don't think they are located inside the public_html folder which is where all of your public files are. The script below will recursively go through all of your public_html directories and remove every file and leave the directories only. You will need to set the correct path at the bottom of the script to the path on your site. If you want to remove folders too then let me know. http://byrondallas.heliohost.org/temp/recu...emove_files.txt EDIT: Forgot to tell you to upload that file to your root directory and give it a php extension. thanks a lot will give it a go and let you know how it works
6. I'm not familiar with MX records but are they located in your user directory or the public_html directory? And are the files that you want to delete in your public_html directory? Um I'm not sure about where they are stored. I know you change them via cPanel. I basically want to delete everything from my account except for the MX Records
7. Its the MX Records I need to keep. I cbf setting them to Google Apps again.
8. Is there any way that I can have all the pages removed from my heliohost domain without deleting the email records? I would prefer not to have to delete every individual page....
9. I'm not from the US, so I couldn't vote, but if I could, I would have voted for Obama, simply because he is the better politician. A poitician can change lives just from what he says and how he says it. Obama does that. McCain doesn't. The other reason is I REALLY do not like Sarah Palin. How can someone say Alaska as an INTERNATIONAL BORDER WITH RUSSIA!?!?!?!?!?!?!? And for crying out loud, that didn't even sound like the French President!
10. ... but I am going to ditch my heliohost for a while. Just wondering what the easiest way to transfer all my data will be. It will be from cPanel to cPanel. And don't worry, I will still be using my heliohost for email, and after about a month I will be using my heliohost website for other stuff, its just I need more space and I have found a VERY cheap price for 1.5GB of space . And also I just don't really want to run a business from a free web server. It looks tacky. Thanks in advance for your help

Downtime

Does that mean you think stevie is fixed?
12. meh I guess. But it is an option if this continues, surely.
13. yes, but that it not your problem. Just send a mass email, and say that everyone has until whenever to back up their stuff, and that there will be server downtime while you format. If they don't do it, it's not your problem.
14. Warranties don't work on software issues. Oh so its definitely a software issue.... Getting everyone to back up their stuff, then formatting the server, and reinstalling it? Just give everyone a couple weeks to back up and it should be sweet.
15. You said you have a guarantee... can you get it replaced, and all the data transferred etc. Obviously there would be down time, but websites aren't much good to people when the site is down at least once a week, often for a few days straight.
16. The weird thing is that when it first had problems, and was giving random 500 errors, you could still log into cpanel on stevie, which you normally wouldn't be able to...
17. Great to see you guys back! What is the point in hacking, other than trying to cause as much havoc as possible.... I am trying to run a business off heliohost!!!
18. and then of course, there is infinity + 1, which is technically possible... this is a really useless post anyway!
19. I have a SanDisk Sansa e140 (at least I think it is 140...) Ipods are made by Apple. Microsoft is the devil incarnate. Apple is Microsoft's evil twin. That is why I will not use iPods
20. I have got one up on http://www.free-webhosts.com/reviews/HelioHost.php. Isn't there yet, but it should be soon. Added a review on http://www.freewebspace.net/php/view.php?id=2681. Not there yet, but should be soon. Added one on http://www.freehostsfinder.com/host-review...p?HostID=138.P7 - I am number 33
21. I know this probably could go into Philosophy as well, but it is science based as well. By religion, I mean that God (or another supreme being) created the world. By science, I mean the big bang theory.
22. Linux? If you need something more specific than that, you will have to ask djbob, I would think
