  4. Yes, a dedicated IP is required because the TLS handshake happens before any HTTP headers are sent. On a shared IP, the server does not know which certificate to use because it does not know which site is being accessed. It doesn't matter whether the certificate is self signed or signed by a CA if the server doesn't know which certificate to use.

     

    The fee for a dedicated IP is what our ISP charges us. We can't provide a free IP for that reason.

  5. It appears that Simple Invoices has encountered this issue many times and currently has not been resolved. (See https://code.google.com/p/simpleinvoices/issues/detail?id=244&q=max_user_connections and https://code.google.com/p/simpleinvoices/issues/detail?id=197&q=max_user_connections)

     

    Most likely the software is making multiple connections to MySQL and/or not closing the connections at the end of the script. Only one MySQL connection is needed. My suggestion would be to find free MySQL hosting with a higher (or no) connection limit. HelioHost cannot change our connection limit in order to keep the server load down.

  6. You are seeing the queued page because that domain is set for dot.tk's forwarding. You need to set it to use HelioHost's nameservers:

    1. Login to your account and click edit for techapti.tk
    2. Select the "Custom DNS" option
    3. Fill in the first hostname box with ns1.heliohost.org, and the second with ns2.heliohost.org. Leave the IP address boxes blank
    4. Click save

    Now give it 24 hours to resolve. Your domain should be ready to go then.
