Thanks for the FAQ, I'll fix it up and post it on the new website when I get to making it

Don't worry, I know how to use the credit cards to my advantage Just pick up a no-interest-for-12-months deal, and drop the card after 12 months. Of course, you can't use the card for purchases or else the company will decide that you have to pay your original debt first and the purchases will quickly accumulate interest. It's really quite easy to abuse the credit card companies, and I don't feel guilty about it either considering their conduct.

Just some prick overloading the server again, probably. I have found coloation and a server to buy; however, I am searching right now for a credit card to put the purchase on. Stay tuned for more updates.
  4. Try again now. Also, please spell more accurately.
  5. If you are talking about the File Manager, are you using IE6? I believe that it breaks the File Manager... try using IE7 or Firefox.
  6. That message means your account has been activated. Try logging with your username in lowercase letters. You say you have made an account here before... you only have one active account, right? We don't allow multiple accounts at the same time, and we auto-delete duplicates. That said, your account seems to have been validated, so you're probably fine.
  7. I am now even more confused.
  8. From there, place the domain in on your cPanel account as a "Parked Domain". Do not add ns1.heliohost.org or ns2.heliohost.org; only ns3.heliohost.org and ns4.heliohost.org.
  9. See if it's working now.

    ASP

There are some other services out there. I think Microsoft offers a converter... just Google it.
  11. We have gs and convert, but not latex and dvips.
  12. Well then if the system doesn't work we probably don't have them, sorry If you can give me the command-line command to check for the existence of each of the tools you listed, then I'll check for you.

http://netcoole.com/download.htm Your file has to be less than 300 lines long though...
  14. As I said earlier, PHPMyAdmin is not permitted to do root-level processes; this is by design.
  15. Sorry, but I'm not sure about those technologies. Are they PHP libraries? See our PHP info page for the libraries we have installed. If they're not PHP libraries, are they Apache mods? Or are they command-line programs?

    ASP

Hey, Took a look, and turns we don't actually have ASP; we have ASP.NET. ASP is a little outdated; take a look here on how to migrate.
  17. Set the domain up to point to the following nameservers: ns3.heliohost.org ns4.heliohost.org
  18. Hmmm... try changing your password again. Make sure to wait through the whole process again. The first option.

    ASP

Uhm, our current server supports ASP. I don't see the purpose of you two linking those topics... Anyways, you just have to register for an account and create an ASP file in the webroot (public_html or www). Other folders will not work, although you can easily create a wrapper file from the webroot to include them.
  20. The error message says you are not using a password. Could that be the problem? Are you trying to access from cPanel, or PHPMyAdmin? Access will be denied from PHPMyAdmin, and I can't find those functions on cPanel...
  21. Hmm... can you setup an email account for me to test and PM me the username/password? I want to see if it's client/software specific.

Sure - anyone can apply. I'm planning to have a system of escalating support. Members and moderators will support on one level. If they can't answer a question, they will escalate the question to a forum where I will support. I'll let you know of any downtimes as soon as I know about them myself.
  23. In case you had already checked cPanel and it wasn't working (which you should've done, BTW), I've restarted the service; see if it works now.

By putting the server purchase on credit and getting cheap colocation for non-profits, I am able to keep the price barely above the current. Hopefully additional ad revenue will balance the cost change out. I'm going to setup an application process sometime later, which you can apply to. I've added that I'm also going to change the HelioHost website. Also, I've added fixing up cPanel.
