Wow, that will definitely affect a lot of HelioHost users. Thanks for mentioning it.

Here I was just this morning watching the news and laughing about China censoring all movies other than their new communist propaganda flick http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1699513/and now google is censoring 11 million websites from showing up in search results?

So much for Google's corporate motto I guess... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don't_be_evil

Wow, this new security feature seems to be a major advantage to most of the users of HelioHost.

According to the database, approximately 2,500 users out of 1,800 use .co.cc as their main domain. There are also lots of users who use .co.cc for parked/Addon domains.

Thanks for sharing :)

I think this is supposed to be 2,500 users out of 18,000 accounts us co.cc  Zeros can make a bit of a difference: If my boss had hired me for $100,000 a year and then gave me $10,000 for the year I would be a tad angry. "But I just subtracted zero!"

Just because co.cc is no longer indexed by Google does not mean that it isn't usable. I will specify that it is not Google-able though.

Huh ... My Head Hurts :P

I didn't like co.cc anyways :D

Well ... the best replacement would be .Tk :D

Its TLD & with full DNS control e.t.c

Plus it offers email redirects for free as welll :D

True ... but you lose a lot of traffic if your site ain't Google-able :)

Or use .cu.cc, which is another free subdomain, but one which is less popular, and so many names are still available. I prefer .cu.cc over .co.cc because .cu.cc shows up in Google, and I prefer it over .cz.cc because .cu.cc doesn't look like a Czech domain. But in my opinion, it still doesn't match .tk.

Everyone using .co.cc can request a re-view of the site by the Google staff. It takes a while, but if they find your site OK, it will re-appear in the search results. I have done this with quite a few sites, and it works. I am in the process of setting up a related site at http://www.freeunited.uk.tc - BTW: The same applies to cz.cc; and apparently the whole *whatever*.cc branch altogether. You use a yourdomain.*.tc domain. That's another free domain provider. I understand you want to fight for the rights of free domain "owners", but it doesn't seem like you use .co.cc yourself.
