JoaoM Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 I setup an hosting account on Johnny on Tuesday. I received an email confirming that my account was added to the creation queue and that it would be accessible within 48 hours. I clicked the link on the mail to check the account status in the creation queue and it was 29 on the list. Every day I have been clicking on the link to to check the account status in the creation queue and it remains 29. When can I expect my hosting account to be created?

My johnny account has the same issue. Seems accounts aren't being created. I've been #137 in the creation queue since June 1st.
Guest Geoff Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 Looks like the cron is having problems. It also appears that we are backlogged.

I never made multiple threads?
Krydos Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 Creating multiple threads for the same issue doesn't get anything resolved any faster. I never made multiple threads? I wasn't as clear as I could have been. I didn't mean to imply that you were creating multiple topics; I merely meant that this issue had already been identified and had a thread had been created to diagnose and fix it. If each person was to create their own thread for an issue that was affecting the entire server there would be twenty thousand duplicate threads, and not only would it not help to have that many threads it would severely hinder the admins from being able to get anything fixed.
Guest Geoff Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Merging thread... Okay, I believe that I have fixed this issue. The reason for this was that bihourly.php was hung. @djbob Please see mod discussion about fix for this issue.

Guest Geoff Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 That is because we became backlogged, so now our server needs to "catch up" with creating accounts. You can get an estimate for when your account is going to be created at http://www.heliohost.org/home/support/scripts/status
