jje Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Yes, we haven't fixed it yet - you just need to be patient. We're waiting for djbob to take a look Moved PokeNerd's post to private Mod Discussion, as McAfee reported the site as Phishing/Scams and Browser Exploit.
NetFreak Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Hi, recently I have found that my site has been hacked by Black Hat Group. I can't even login into my cPanel account! I hope the administrators of HelioHost will take effective steps as soon as possible. Thank you.
PokeNerd Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 We already have enough of these topics. -.- Perhaps check the other forums, and then you'd find out what happened, eh?
jje Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Yes - we are aware of this. Please post in current threads - don't create new ones. Moving to Customer Service and Closing...
PokeNerd Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 UPDATE: I think it may be being fixed -- since it's currently not loading.
Ashoat Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Yeah, I was taking a look. I'm currently running a fsck on /home... hopefully when that finishes everything will be alright, as df and du definitely reported different filesystem usage on /home (du only reported ~46 GiB, which is reasonable).
PokeNerd Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Okay, I'll just pretend I knew what that meant... o.o So when d'you reckon it'll be back up by?
Guest Geoff Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Johnny has been hacked. You were warned this might happen; it specifically said johnny was more unstable when signing up. I'm closing this thread.. see the other threads for more updates.

Guest Geoff Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Merging thread... Quite a setback for us. I wonder how long this will take to fix.
PokeNerd Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Hmmm... Yes. I wonder if djbob has any idea how they did it? I couldn't get that info out of the hackers, and I talked to 2 of them.
Guest Geoff Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Well... we've had some security audits on stevie (most of them found holes related to cpanel, which is not a suprise). We just hadn't gotten johnny fully set up yet, so Johnny wasn't prepared for this.
jonathan Kokott Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 Glad I don't have a virus on my machine. If you need any help with parsing access logs or some other data mining to help find the root cause, I'm more than happy to assist. ~Jon
