Guest Geoff Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 My file manager is working fine. What is your domain name?
jje Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 @Geoff - Happens to me as well when Stevie's on high server load. Somebody may know a fix? (eg. clear cache)
stergos Posted March 8, 2011 Author Posted March 8, 2011 http://www.e-hacking.com/ You mean is never do this to you? Because mine is doing this almost everyday...
Guest Geoff Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 You could try uploading Ajaxplorer to your site, and then using that instead.
jje Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Yes, you could do that. You guys: Could you please login to your cPanel ans look on the left hand side of the screen. What does it say next to 'Home directory'? @admins Could it be the partitions?
stergos Posted March 9, 2011 Author Posted March 9, 2011 You could try uploading Ajaxplorer to your site, and then using that instead. Can you please tell me the basics how to do that? Thank you very much!
Guest Geoff Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 It's probably someone getting too impatient over high server load. @stergos: Goto http://www.ajaxplorer.info/wordpress/ and download the ZIP file, then extract to a subdomain or something.
c2s Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Yes, you could do that. You guys: Could you please login to your cPanel ans look on the left hand side of the screen. What does it say next to 'Home directory'? /home/c2s
jje Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Aha!! I believe it is all the people who are on /home/ experiencing problems. However, (correct me if I'm wrong) Geoff is on /home1/ so he is not having any troubles. This support request is being escalated to our root admin.
Rishi Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 same issue of 'fetching.....' in my cpanel too. although its now fine since the past two days
Guest Geoff Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 However, (correct me if I'm wrong) Geoff is on /home1/ so he is not having any troubles. My account is on /home. It was created before heliohost created the /home1 partion. I think this is really just high server load. It "happens" to me sometimes, but waiting 20 seconds usually solves the problem.
jje Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Oh - right. Sorry, I thought you said that your were on /home1/ a while back. As an alternative to the file manager you could also use FTP or Web Disk. Descalating...
stergos Posted March 12, 2011 Author Posted March 12, 2011 Thank you very much all of you for your suggestions, I will try it. For the records cpanel is down again, I hope the problem will solve soon...
jje Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Last time it was accessible, the server load was ridiculously high (above 100!!). Hopefully this matter will be resolved soon.
