mrscottm
Hi all, I am relatively new tot his forum so I hope I am posting this thread in the right place. I was learning about python as well as heliohost capabilities and noticed that python is version 2.4. One of the requirements to use flask is at least python 2.5. I was wondering if there's any way you guys can possibly update this or if there are any plans to in the near future? Please let me know as I would like to see this great host become even better! Thanks in advance, Scott My account info: login: mrscottm domain: drtux.net
jje
Python might be updated when Charlie is configured, but unfortunately cPanel can be incompatible with many new versions of softwares such as Python. Let's see what djbob thinks... This support request is being escalated to our root admin.

Ashoat
Okay, I ran those instructions. When I tried to change the symlinks, the new Python broke yum... so I just left it as is. The path to the new Python is /usr/local/python.2.6.2/bin/python2.6.
