Please see https://wiki.helionet.org/Google_Site_Verification for the recommended way to accomplish this. If done correctly, you should not need any DNS records.

If you're unable to get that method to work, please let us know and we'll see about getting this added for you.

I know. It's just that this has been a long-running http:// site, and I'd like to integrate all gathered data into a single http-https entity via the domain thing.
