Is this a home internet connection, or a work or school connection? Nope. It's everywhere. I have ran this at home, at work, on my phone's mobile network. It just doesn't want to connect.
Krydos Posted January 20 Posted January 20 I've tested remote MariaDB connections to Johnny from everywhere too. Other VPS, other hosting providers, my home, VPNs, etc. And remote access works from all of them and nothing is timing out.

Krydos Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I still don't have any new ideas why this is timing out for you on both Tommy and Johnny. We haven't had anyone else report any issues connecting to MariaDB remotely, and I've tested it from a dozen different locations and they can all connect to MariaDB on both Tommy and Johnny without any issues. The fact that it's saying "timed out" rather than like "permission denied" or some other error means it's a network issue of some sort because you're not even getting to MariaDB for it to be a username, password, or server side configuration. Let us know if you ever figure it out.
