knnske Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I received an email stating that my account might have possibly violated the terms of service. It specifically noted term #1 which is about having multiple accounts. I want to clarify that I do not have any other email or acount registered in heliohost, only one account 'jrcc1023@gmail.com', is registered in the Tommy tier. I also want to note that I did log in frequently over school and public wifi and have no knowledge if any other person with an account has been accessing the same network. My current fiber plan also does not offer static IP's for home plans, which might have also triggered the filter. I would appreciate if I get to keep this account knowing that I did not violate any of the terms of Heliohost. Thank you! Quote
wolstech Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Your pending suspension has been cancelled. Accounts associated with the Philippines tend to get flagged all the time due to the small number of available IPs and the prevalence of students (at least one larger university there uses our services for coursework). School networks, public wifi, and even VPNs are a common cause of this, and these days I'd almost go as far as to say 80%+ of these detections are false due to shared networks. Quote
