juris Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) hi everyone, i received yesterday a mail saying that i may have violated the terms of service because: ● Multiple family members creating an account from the same internet connection. ● Logging in from a school internet connection where another student also has an account. ● Logging in from a work internet connection where a coworker also has an account. ● Maintaining an account for someone else. can you give me more information about it? i connect only from home. i have had only one account for years and it is barely used lol. i live alone so nobody could have created an account or use my connection to create an account. and i am not obviously maintaining an account for someone else. can you please confirm that i have no issue with my account? thanks! wolstech Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Account juris has been unsuspended. It may take a little while to work again. The other account you matched with says it originated in Poland. Were you on a VPN? VPNs will trigger this because many users share a limited number of exit IPs. 1 Quote
juris Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago i'm on starlink. depending on the location of their point of presence which is not fixed, i may look like i'm on a vpn... Quote
wolstech Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Oh, that would explain it. An exclusion for the shared IP has been added. Please let us know if you need anything else. Quote
