devashraf Posted December 15 Posted December 15 (edited) Hello, I installed Castopod script from Softaculous. When I install it to award-radio.helioho.st I get the error screen "Internal Server Error" when I visit the site. Quote Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator at root@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. When I install it to ashraf.helioho.st, as a test, no problem happens. I believe both sites have same PHP version, etc.. I don`t know what causes this problem. The details are available in the server error log. ย * Uninstalling Castopod fixes the problem. However, I want it installed. I kept it for now. This is the second installation. ย Any help shall be very much appreciated. Edited December 15 by devashraf
KazVee Posted December 15 Posted December 15 I can't see which version of PHP you're using between both those domains, but this page explains how you can check (and update the award-radio one if needed): https://wiki.helionet.org/features/php#change-php-versionย Please note it can take up to 2 hours for a PHP version change to take effect. You can check your server logs by following the steps here:ย https://wiki.helionet.org/tutorials/plesk/view-error-logsย and hopefully the logs will give you more of an idea on what the issue is. Let us know what the logs say and we can try to dig into it further for you. ย
devashraf Posted December 15 Author Posted December 15 Thank you! I`m used to other complex ways of managing websites.. Plesk makes it very much easier. This is the error message in the logs Quote [core:alert]ย /home/ashraf.helioho.st/award-radio.helioho.st/public/.htaccess: Option FollowSymlinks not allowed here, referer: http://www.prize.radio/ ย Well, why doesn`t this error appear in the other site?
MoneyBroz Posted December 15 Posted December 15 Make sure this is unchecked inย Domainsย > yourdomain.com >ย Hosting & DNSย >ย Apache & nginx Settings. ย 1
