ecovoltios Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Hi Login in server Tommy is ok Click in Button Plesk result "Loading Plesk .." in loop Heeelpp
wolstech Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Try signing in at https://tommy2.heliohost.org directly.
wolstech Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Your blocked for failed IMAP logins because you have a mail client somewhere that's trying to check mail with invalid credentials. Please disable your mail clients or check their credentials. Unblocked.
ecovoltios Posted September 15 Author Posted September 15 hi agian if thats true but if you indicate that the client you can use is Thunderbird and you enter the login and password. It automatically finds the mail server but the password gives an error and the web server crashes. it must be your server where the problem is, this is repeated every time I configure an existing account in Thunderbird.
wolstech Posted September 15 Posted September 15 You need to specify the mail server host name manually (tommy2.heliohost.org) when setting up a mail client. Do not use your domain as the mail server hostname, and do not let the client automatically find it (it will find the wrong value).
ecovoltios Posted September 15 Author Posted September 15 I have understood the problem The server has crashed again because of the attempts made by thunderbird, what a mess! very thanks
wolstech Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Unblocked again. If it continues to give difficulty, try changing the mailbox password in Plesk.
ecovoltios Posted September 15 Author Posted September 15 Client Thunderbird set up manually server imap tommy2.heliohost.org port 993 server SMTP tommy2.heliohost.org port 465 Password normal
wolstech Posted September 15 Posted September 15 There's a limit of 10 messages per hour, and a total of 50 per day. It's kind of weird to see the client actually show this as an error though. Usually the messages just don't send... Have you sent 10 messages in the past hour (note that this is for the entire account, including things like scripts sending email)?
ecovoltios Posted September 15 Author Posted September 15 Nothing I'm just setting up the accounts for the client. Tomorrow i will try it again
ecovoltios Posted September 16 Author Posted September 16 hi now The server may be unavailable or is rejecting SMTP connections. Verify that your outgoing (SMTP) server settings are correct and try again.
wolstech Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Lets see if Krydos has any additional input on this. It is possible it will not be fixed though, as you're on a server that is in the process of being retired.
