zsolt112873 Posted September 6 Author Posted September 6 It works with this warning. In case of OSX Mail, the problem is the certificate of the server. I try to find out how could I avoid it. The certificate is valid, but a free one and the Mail doesn't accept it.
wolstech Posted September 6 Posted September 6 HelioHost exclusively uses free certificates from Lets Encrypt, so if Apple has chosen not to trust "ISRG Root X1" by default, you may need to install that root certificate or mark the certificate as trusted in keychain. Does it say exactly why the certificate doesn't verify (common name invalid, root not trusted, etc.)? There may be an option to view/inspect certificate. If it's complaining about the root, what root certificate does it say the certificate is from? What common name is on the certificate? If one or both values are "Plesk" (self-signed), let me know as it means there's a mail server configuration issue.
zsolt112873 Posted September 6 Author Posted September 6 In OSX Mail, I have deleted the account and created a nuevo. Now it works. (with warning) Thank you! I have found a certificate, I attache it. It looks self-signed for me.
wolstech Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Yeah that's self signed...I've asked in a staff channel about why it isn't using the lets encrypt certificate...
wolstech Posted September 6 Posted September 6 It should be fixed now. If you remove it and set it up again, does it still warn you?
zsolt112873 Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 thank you, there is no warning, it works well
