I've begun programming in PHP. If you really want to become a pro, check out Larry Ullman's books. He's a good author, and that's how I learned it.

Well PHP is an easy language as its easy to use. Secondly the new era that is coming is going to use it as it's user friendly and the basics are easy to learn.

While most end-users use PHP, the majority of corporation use ASP. It's great that it's easy to learn, but if it comes out useless if you're going to be doing it for a living, what's the point, 'eh?

Give me a break. All the newly designed websites are using the technology of PHP. Who said that ASP is being widely used? Even the telenor website is based on PHP. Stop acting like being a web expert.
