marcy Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I'm trying to signup for an account on HelioHost and always get this error: "We're sorry, but an error was encountered during signup. Please try again later." It's like that, since Yesterday. I don't know what's going on. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I would really like to be a customer.
Byron Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 There is a daily sign up limit. You need to get there early when it resets which is 12:00am pacific time.

Thank you, I like blames... |-/ No, I didn't try to sign up for more than one account. I try to sign up for one and the same account, all the time. I'm new here and very able to read. I need only one account. |-/ And I only got errors so far. Could you please tell me, if I already have an account? It would be big suprise for me, if that's the case. @ byron: Thank you for the hint, I'll try.

marcy Posted December 17, 2009 Author Posted December 17, 2009 Oh? I got an error the first time I tried. I used a wrong character in my password. I changed the password and tried again. All the rest stayed the same.

I have the same issue - tried to signup, but didn't fill the HelioNet username and chose a wrong type of domain (free tls instead of .heliohost.org) and got a message that the error occured, etc. Amended the details and filled all in properly, but still have this message. Could it be caused because I tried just before with wrong details? or it's a daily sign up limit related? (It's just after 9am Pacific time). Thanks

They have their website in Heliohost already and told me it's great and reliable so I wanted to open my own account here as well. I'll ask them to share me a webspace and will see how it works.
