Hmm yes, I'll try some tinkering from my side.

Anyway I know what went wrong in phpbb, its fantastico, so if you install phpbb with fantastico you can't update it... Fantastico is using a old version of phpbb

Can't You just raise that TimeOut sequence?

It's pretty annoying, more makes me start up my own server again, and run it all from there!

 

I can't even find my styles.css file, and drag it into my FTP client, before it gives me a TimeOut sequence...

It feels like the timeout is set to 5 seconds, and it should at least be 5 minutes!
