  1. Ehem, remember that it's heliohost.org and not helionet.org Remember that in future - Else You'll definately get an error
  2. Well, for Wizard I'd like to start saying: I might be lazy, but there's so many posts, and searching the forum is completely time waisting. To the case: I once added gecero.co.cc to my heliohost account, but somehow, it's not removed from my account. I still have "test.gecero.co.cc" in my subdomains, but I once removed Gecero.co.cc completely, now my subdomain is there, how come? Can You remove it? NB: If this question is already posted, I apology for being lazy.

    I'm back

Old topic, I know. Well, if I had something to share, I'd do it. I've seen a lot of downtime the last couple of months, but after reading the latest news, I understood why. Well, new servers are not cheap, but they're needed. I hope You'll find someway to get new servers.
  4. 1. Which filetype? CER or how? 2. How to get it added? Domain: gecero.co.cc Created with startssl.com (found the service through another user's post). Btw. might want to add the steps to FAQ

    Downtime

Dear DjBob. Wouldn't it be better, to make some sort of mail-list, and then send out such notices per mail, so we get this to know faster? I actually thought that You closed it all for good (seen it often these days )...
  7. It's my guess. Because, the system is very slow, specially cPanel.
  8. I know that... But what I can see, then it's too many files on the server, which might cause the server being slow.
  9. Well, currently cPanel doesn't show proberly (screenshot), and I can't log into FTP... + cPanel is working so slow, that I've given up checking... Edit: Check new attachment.
  10. I've had some troubles using FTP today, so I checked the stats, in cPanel, but found out that Server Load, sda1 and sda3 has warnings signs. Could this have anything to do with it? Also, FTP limit on 50 would be reached often, could it be raised?
  11. Just wanted to check it. Seen it happen too often now...
  12. I've just checked the Who.is for the domain Heliohost.org. It came up with an US-citizen, in the state Washington. I was wondering, since many hosts lately has changed owner, without notice, if it could be the same here? Currently, Heliohost.org has huge failure with the cPanel, servers are generally too slow. Have the owner changed?
  13. I installed the newest phpBB version directly without using Fantastico-thing... I just uploaded the phpBB directory to my FTP, setup Database, and then install. Must be honest, that the newest version of phpBB is pretty cool, it's featuring a nice Anti-Spam feature, but it could be better. If the user has not posted once, then they're in one category (if activated), if they have 1 post or more, they're placed in "Registered Users"
  14. I don't, but others have.
  15. So you want your heliohost subdomain to see your files at your brother's server? Yes.
  16. I want to have my files at my brother's server, but still use the subdomain I've got here at HelioHost
  17. Hello. I've spoken with my brother, and he told me that I could use one of his server, for my webhosting. Then I would ask, whether it's possible to associate my heliohost-account with my brother's server, so that all my files are placed on his server...? Of cause he's server got it's own MySQL-database, so that's no problem. Is it possible?
  18. Well, sorry to break Your hope, but it's not possible. You're able to setup and external MySQL database to work with Your heliohost account, so You don't use the heliohost's database. In other words: You can setup Your heliohost account, to have an database OUTSIDE heliohost's management. This could be done, by setting up an server (fx. at Your own home), and through cPanel > Databases > Remote MySQL You can enter the DNS or IP for the external MySQL database (XAMPP/WAMPP can also be used), so You will use that database instead. But Heliohost has not accepted that their MySQL-database can be contacted off-site. Sorry.
  19. Can't You just raise that TimeOut sequence? It's pretty annoying, more makes me start up my own server again, and run it all from there! I can't even find my styles.css file, and drag it into my FTP client, before it gives me a TimeOut sequence... It feels like the timeout is set to 5 seconds, and it should at least be 5 minutes!
