luckster Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 Just a quick question, but would it be possible for me to somehow put a minecraft server .jar file into my server and then in a minecraft client, type my server domain and be able to connect to it? Quote
wolstech Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 You'd need a VPS for that, and a very large one at that (especially CPU and RAM). https://heliohost.org/vps/ You'd need 4 cores and at least 4 GB of RAM, 8GB or more if you plan to have more than 2 or 3 players at any given time. I've run two myself (1.7.10 and 1.16.1), and they're by far the most resource hungry game servers I've ever hosted. Quote
