iffatsh Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Hello,Thank you very much, it helped me a lot. I am a total newbie to Heliohost or any hosting systems. I am a python programmer and I needed a simple code for one of my undergrad thesis work to be hosted. But I am facing a problem. I am using Johnny server. When I use the shebang for python 3.6 it gives an internal error 500. Then I tested the 2.7 python version, it works fine, But the python version is basically 2.7.5, but in heliohost facebook page, it is said that 2.7.13 is available for Johnny server. Version 2.7.5 is older and some of my modules need python version which is over 2.7.9.I can't even visit the two pages:https://krydos2.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/modules26.pyhttps://krydos2.heliohost.org/cgi-bin/modules36.pyIt is showing me "Not found"Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.
Flaze Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 It's supposed to show Johnny's installed python modules. Krydos needs to check this. Side note: Please make a new thread next time. Do not bump old threads.
Krydos Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 That's because Johnny no longer has python 3.6. The thread that you necro'd was from 3 years ago. Johnny has python 3.7 now which is located at /usr/bin/python3.7
iffatsh Posted January 16, 2020 Author Posted January 16, 2020 Thank you very much Krydos. I thought I had to post a new one as I bumped into a way older post. So, I made a new post.
