shuffly2 Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Hi, I had a domain on Tommy until the driver problem.Since I am using both PHP and Java, I would like to re-create my domain on Johnny. Is that possible?I sent my donation back on 29-08-2017 (transaction number 2AR0995890673234R). Is that enough to have right now an account on Johhny or should I execute another donation? My user is: shufflyMy domain is: shuffly-backend.heliohost.org Thanks for the support
Sn1F3rt Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Yeah... That's possible. An administrator will have to remove the DNS entries from the cluster for you to use that again. Your previous donation is enough for now, but if you appreciate the service, you're always welcome to make another donation to support HelioHost.
Byron Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 You should be able to signup with Johnny now or I could send you an invite to your helionet email.
shuffly2 Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 Hi, thanks for the help. If I login in https://www.heliohost.org, it shows a message saying that "That account has been backed up and then taken offline due to inactivity".I tried to create a new account, but then when I land on the "Sever selection" page it says that both Ricky and Johnny servers are full, and Tommy is Closed. So it seems I am not able to signup on Johnny by myself (or at least I did not found a way to do that). It would be great if the invite is sent to my helionet email. Regarding the donation, you are absolutely right (to be honest the donation that I did is pretty ridiculous).I have been more than happy for the service until now, so once that I restored my website I will be more than happy to contribute in your project. Thanks a lot.
shuffly2 Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 Hi Byron, thank you very much.Anyway, apparently I am missing something: I clicked on the invitation on the email and I followed the steps to create an account on Johhny. Apparently everything worked fine and I finished on the page that says that the account is under creation and I must wait and refresh the page. After a while I refreshed the page, but still I am not able to login:- with the new user that I created (bard87) I got the response "There is no account in our database that matches that username"- with the old user (shuffly) I still got "That account has been backed up and then taken offline due to inactivity".The invitation in the email is not working anymore, like it has been used without problems to create an account. Can you please help? Thanks a lot
Byron Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 I need to change your helionet username. Give me a minute and I'll send you another invite.
shuffly2 Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 Still same problem. This time I used "shuffly" as a new account name (it is the same of the oldest one, should I use something different?), but at the end of the process it continues to say "That account has been backed up and then taken offline due to inactivity." Sorry for the problems.
shuffly2 Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 Yes, I have downloaded all the backups on my PC
Byron Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Ok try sighting up again with shuffly. If that doesn't work, try a different username. New invite sent.
shuffly2 Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 Hi Byron, thank you very much for the help, finally I manage to recreate my account on Johnny without problems. Hopefully I have one last request: I actived the Java support for the new account, but it estimates that it will be activated on 2019-11-30.Since my site is almost completely based on Java, is there any way to speed up this process? Thank you very much.
Sn1F3rt Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Java access is given on an automatic basis... So there's no way to speed it up. When it's removed from inactive users it's given to users like you. The estimated date is only a gross estimate.
shuffly2 Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 Ok thank you, I got it. So, just to understand: my previous website was based on Java, and I would need Java again to put it back online. At the moment on Johnny I have to wait the queue to have it activated. Do I have any other option, right now with the restore ongoing, on Heliohost, to have a domain with Java activated, in relatively short time? Thank you
