My account username is robev and my account URL is http://robbiewolfe.heliohost.org. I was on Tommy before the crash.

I'd like to temporarily move my account to Ricky until Tommy is fixed. I donated to HelioHost (my transaction ID is 07G89556FS160615W) Do I have to do anything or will you do it for me?

I downloaded my backup. Is there a fast way to just reupload everything to the server? An FTP client you recommend? What would be my new FTP settings.

1. When our Root Admin sends you an invitation to your email, you will have to click the link button and filled it out yourself.

2. Follow these steps below:

  1. Go to a tab called “Backup Wizard”.
  2. Click “Restored Backup” button.
  3. Click “Restored MySQL Database” button.
  4. Click “Choose File” button and choose username_database.sql. Once you finished that, you will need to created MySQL Database Users in the tab called "MySQL" in cPanel and assigned them to your other MySQL Database.
  5. For the files, you can use File Manager or FTP to restored them back.

Perfect!

Please wait for one of our Root Admin to verify your transaction ID and if they found it, they will send an invitation to your email in no time.

@Luigi123: A root admin has to rename his forum account temporarily. Changing his old username is inadequate.

Okay thank you I followed through with the signup process. Now waiting for the account creation to finish.

When my account is finished is there a way to return my forum account back to robev?

Yes we can do that. Also, if you needed help restoring your files and MySQL Database, check my post above. I just edit it to make it better for you to understand. :)

I got the following message when I checked if my account was created:

Account Status

That account has been backed up and then taken offline due to inactivity. HelioHost has a limited capacity for active accounts, but we are very popular. So in order to make room for new active users we occasionally have to take down old abandoned accounts. We recommend downloading your backup, and then creating a new account. If you need help with anything please don't hesitate to contact support.
