qsgt Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Ricky does not support Java. See https://wiki.helionet.org/Java#Using_JSP_on_HelioHost for more information about using Java on HelioHost and here https://www.helionet.org/index/topic/29624-return-of-ricky/ for more information about what Ricky offers and why he dosn't support Java. If you need Java support you will need to move to either Tommy or Johnny. Once you have an account on either of these servers Java access can be requested via you cPanel (see the wiki link above for the direct links for both servers). There is no need to request access to Java via the forum. There are a limited number of Java slots and so you will need to wait for a slot to become available before access is granted. The wait is usually less on Tommy compared to Johnny. Additionally, keep in mind that if you don't use your Java access when you get it or your account is suspended while you have access you will lose access. If you decide to move you will need to backup the content of your existing account and then request for the account to be deleted by going to http://www.heliohost.../scripts/delete before signing up. Upon successful signup you can restore the backup of your old account. This is because having multiple accounts is in violation of the HelioHost Terms of Service. However, if you donate to HelioHost by going to https://www.heliohost.org/donate an admin can move your account for you. This means you can get an account even if signups are closed for the day and you don't have to backup and delete your account as your existing account can be moved directly. The minimum donation amount is USD$1. If you donate please reply with your transaction ID so that your donation can be verified and your account will then be moved. 1
