Moodle extremely slow

Hello there,

 

I'm wondering what I did "wrong" during the installation of Moodle (via Softaculous).

The loading time of the website is aweful even if it's empty (like 30 secondes for admin page, both on wifi or LTE/4G...) 

 

Is it a bad setting on my account ?

Moodle is just extremely bloated software. I played with it a while back and it ran like crap even on its own server, so on a shared server this performance is basically expected. It's one of the few programs I know of that can make even Wordpress's horrible performance look good.

 

Your best course of action is to find other software.
