My account was deactivated for inactivity. Was busy with midterms/project and forgot to check on it. The automatic renewal unfortunately didn't work. I tried both my username and my email, in both cases I just landed back on the same page asking for my username/e-mail

Sometimes the reactivation page fails when the server is experiencing high load, and Ricky has had pretty high load the last few days so it's not too surprising. I tested out the https://www.heliohost.org/renew/ page with your account and it worked for me, but the load was low at the time.
