zweris Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Hi, Recently installed Prestashop 1.7.5 and ran into an issue. When browsing backend some of the pages do not load due to memory restrictions: (1/1) OutOfMemoryException Error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 524243 bytes) How to increase it ?
Krydos Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Please post the following information:Your cPanel usernameYour main domainThe server that you are onThe version of PHP you're usingThe memory that your software requires
zweris Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 Sorry for late replay. Here are the details:zwerisshttp://zweris.heliohost.org/Ricky5.6According to documentation it should be 128MB (https://www.prestashop.com/en/system-requirements)
Krydos Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 There you go https://krydos1.heliohost.org/56/phpinfo.php
zweris Posted April 3, 2019 Author Posted April 3, 2019 I see you increased the memory. Thank you for that but now I get a different error: (1/1) ContextErrorExceptionNotice: SessionHandler::gc(): ps_files_cleanup_dir: opendir(/var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php56) failed: Permission denied (13)
Krydos Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 I installed prestashop 1.7 on php 5.6 on Ricky and it works for me https://krydos1.heliohost.org/presta17/
qsgt Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Prestashop is available to install via the Softaculous Apps Installer. There should be a link to Softaculous at the bottom of your cPanel or you can use the search bar at the top of the screen. Try installing that way and see how you get on.
zweris Posted April 6, 2019 Author Posted April 6, 2019 The front part of the shop works but I get the errors in Admin side of the shop. Tried to reinstall the software but unsuccessfully as for some strange reason the website is unreacheable for few days now. Chrome gives DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error. At first I thought it was a problem with my computer but then tried to load the page from few different places and it's the same. Is it only me who has bad luck with heliohost or nobody uses such heavy applications or it's a constant issue solving for everyone using heliohost.org?
Krydos Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Ricky is our slowest and oldest server so he does tend to struggle with bloated software like wordpress, magento, prestashop, and stuff like that. If you need a faster server we recommend switching to Tommy.
zweris Posted April 8, 2019 Author Posted April 8, 2019 It seems the website is reachable again. I'll give it another try. Thank you for your help.
