I guess the answer would be either one of these:

1. PHP + MySQL with CSS, JavaScript

2. ASP.net + MySQL/Oracle with CSS, JavaScript.

Quite bored with this type of question in this forum.

Try to browse the thread one by one and you will see plenty of topics like this.

I'm turning into a jack of all trades and master of C++.

I love C++ but resently i've been forced into VB and JAVA. Life's SO unfair!

Hey all. First post, yay.

Anyway, I've just recently learned PHP/MySQL.

I generally try to write all of my sites using xHTML Strict with imported CSS using PHP and MySQL for my server-side and database needs.

I've yet to handle any real programming language. I did manage "Kids Programming Language" and the macro system on World of Warcraft, but I really don't know where to start when it comes JavaScript or PHP.

I get the impression that there are some free microsoft programs that might help when doing PHP, they're called "IDE", right?

Sorry, but there are NOT some free microsoft programs that might help when doing PHP. But if you want to start with real programing, try their so called Express Editions for C# or VB.NET. Real good free IDE's (IDE = Intregrated Development Environment) powerful enough for small to middle projects. My Tip, start with C#.

You can do Web or Desktop Applications with C# and the Syntax is similar to all other great programing languages. Note: you start messing with MS but thats not the worst thing you can do ;) Try to look for documentation on other platforms, compare with MSDN and you know what i mean.

If you look for a free PHP IDE, try PHP Designer 2007 - Personal . Don't forget that you must have Apache and PHP installed to code PHP local..
