Frankie Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 English! Depends on the task. Java, C++, php and mysql, css, js Quote
JcX Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 I guess the answer would be either one of these: 1. PHP + MySQL with CSS, JavaScript 2. ASP.net + MySQL/Oracle with CSS, JavaScript. Quite bored with this type of question in this forum. Try to browse the thread one by one and you will see plenty of topics like this. Quote
Sungazer Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 def. depends on the task... personally tho: c++ > all Quote
Milli Mind Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 I can write only 'html' and 'php' So .. this is my favourite progamming language . Quote
phoexer Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I'm turning into a jack of all trades and master of C++. I love C++ but resently i've been forced into VB and JAVA. Life's SO unfair! Quote
Kyougi Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 I stick with python for most things. There's rarely a need to use a lower level language for the things I do. Quote
Bass5098 Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 I stick with php/mysql for most things, if I need to I will use asp/asp.net, but its not my favorite to use. Quote
mikeloyst Posted July 9, 2008 Posted July 9, 2008 PHP/MySQL, JavaScript and AJAX. With those three things the possibilities are limitless Quote
mrdarc Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 C# is the best out there as of now. I'm a Microsoft guy PHP MySQL isn't bad either. Quote
CriBaby Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Hey all. First post, yay. Anyway, I've just recently learned PHP/MySQL. I generally try to write all of my sites using xHTML Strict with imported CSS using PHP and MySQL for my server-side and database needs. Quote
enter Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 My mother tongue is C#. It's the best combination of productivity and power for me. Quote
Ivar T Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I've yet to handle any real programming language. I did manage "Kids Programming Language" and the macro system on World of Warcraft, but I really don't know where to start when it comes JavaScript or PHP. I get the impression that there are some free microsoft programs that might help when doing PHP, they're called "IDE", right? Quote
enter Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 @Ivar T: Sorry, but there are NOT some free microsoft programs that might help when doing PHP. But if you want to start with real programing, try their so called Express Editions for C# or VB.NET. Real good free IDE's (IDE = Intregrated Development Environment) powerful enough for small to middle projects. My Tip, start with C#. You can do Web or Desktop Applications with C# and the Syntax is similar to all other great programing languages. Note: you start messing with MS but thats not the worst thing you can do Try to look for documentation on other platforms, compare with MSDN and you know what i mean. If you look for a free PHP IDE, try PHP Designer 2007 - Personal . Don't forget that you must have Apache and PHP installed to code PHP local.. Quote
