palmerrant
I have a domain that did not recieve an AutoSSL certificate when I set it up as an Addon to my main domain. The Status shows it as Self-signed, due to renew in a year, when it will renew via AutoSSL. Why might this domain not have received a free certificate already? And is there a way to renew it via AutoSSL before the year expires? Thanks.
wolstech
Did you just create it? AutoSSL can take up to 24 hours to get you a certificate. Also, be aware that domains with forced SSL redirects will never get a certificate unless you add an exception for the .well-known folder so it can be reached over plain HTTP. palmerrant
It was created on 1 September. Is there a way I can tell if it has a forced SSL redirect? And, if so, how do I add on exception for the .well-known folder?I appreciate you help.
rajdis
This may work: RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/[0-9]+\..+\.cpaneldcv$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/\.well-known/acme-challenge/[0-9a-zA-Z_-]+$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/\.well-known/pki-validation/[A-F0-9]{32}\.txt(?:\ Comodo\ DCV)?$ RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
