Did you set the file permissions to 644? They upload as 664 by default and need to be changed to 644 in order to work.

I have no .htaccess file.

 

I tried deploying a simple empty index.html under my www folder, but I get always "The page could not be reached".

Well, right now Johnny's down, so that's to be expected...

 

The 500 errors might have been due to load if you didn't have an .htaccess and permissions are correct. We've been having issues with johnny being hit by DDoS the past few days, so he keeps going down and is very unstable when he is up.
