I'm bfpsw on Johnny.

 

I try to load my http://bfpsw.heliohost.org/reweb/index.php page, but I get an HTTP-500 error. After a few other trials the answer is "The page cannot be reached". Can you give me some information about the problem?

Did you set the file permissions to 644? They upload as 664 by default and need to be changed to 644 in order to work.

Try renaming your .htaccess file so its ignored.

 

If that doesn't help, most likely your code is broken.

I have no .htaccess file.

 

I tried deploying a simple empty index.html under my www folder, but I get always "The page could not be reached".

Well, right now Johnny's down, so that's to be expected...

 

The 500 errors might have been due to load if you didn't have an .htaccess and permissions are correct. We've been having issues with johnny being hit by DDoS the past few days, so he keeps going down and is very unstable when he is up.
